Possibly a faulty abs sensor? Take it to a local garage and get them to plug it into the diagnostics. I think they can read any previous codes the car has spat up.
The serv light comes on whenever there is a fault along with the relevant lights in your car abs and esp, as they both are brake...
Lol. Not as brave as when i work on the Washington Road Estate/Exeter Drive. We were there one day, both me and the bloke i work with said its grim round here...wouldnt like to be here when the sun goes down. Flick the local radio on the next day and there had been a police armed standoff lmao...
Good luck with it anyway Boosh.
I work all over the show tbh mate, wherever theres a council house...im there. Some of the areas that spring to mind are Upperthorpe, The Manor Estate (lol), Stocksbridge. Is the hospital near the uni? I know the uni area very well lol aka....the rat run!!!
Lol i knew as soon as i read "while april" you were from Sheffield. Ive never heard that said until i started working in Sheff a couple of months ago. I work 8 till 4, however most people in sheff seem to work "9 while 5"
;) Where abouts in sheff you from mate?
I'm happy with my 182 although a little miffed that when i did an insurance quote on a ph1 172 the other day it came out £150 cheaper than my 182's insurance :S
Exhaust rubbers are £9 each (£18 as you need two) from CESUK - http://www.cesuk.com/
If you use the quote link on their website they will email you with a price for the mounts or i would imagine you can order by phone as well.
Where about is Sheffield you from mate? I work for Kier, and...
^ cheers guys.
Just been and bought some nitrmors mainly because it was £4 vs £15 for a heatgun which ill never use again.
Ill take the inlets off tomorrow after work and have a play i think. It's snowing heavily here atm and whilst the car is in the garage its a phychological thing known as i...
Hi Guys,
Would i be ok to use a heatgun on my inlets to remove the paint from around the Renault sport writing or am i best removing the inlets and using some nitromorse?
Thanks, russ
I can afford the megs polisher however im just struggling to justify an extra 50%/£60 on it, unfortunately not many people seem to have tried the kestral kit yet to see how it compares to the megs kit. Decisions decisions lol
^ You did well with the improvements there.
Im just wondering how these two kits compare -

Tbh there isnt alot of swirls as the car just a few. As much as anything i want to achieve a nice deep shine to the car. Might practise on my mums astra....less than 12months old, black paint and swirled like mad due to the use of hand car washes. tut tut
The CYC kit looks good. Ive heard very mixed reports on the megs polishes. As to what results they give. How do Menzerna polishes rate? I have some swirling to remove and want to bring the car to a real deep shine.
I have some Dodo juice wax, would the car benefit from applying this using the...
Hi,
I'm looking into getting a Kestrel DAS-6. Does anyone have any experience with them?
Would i be best buying one of the kits which includes polishes and pads or buying a polisher and all separate products? It will be my first time using a DA.
Would someone be kind enough to spec me a...
182's come in a similar colour called arctic blue.
type r driver, im sure i remember when you first got the car you said you werent going to swap the exhaust or bumper? lol
^ yeah as said above. tape or if you can lay your hands on some connector blocks then thats a bit better really just try make it so the cables cant fall into the door or else youll have to try and fish them out of there as well lol
Id go an buy a new mirror switch from the scrappy...cut the cable on it as long as possible.
Theres plenty of slack on that so what id do is cut the cable on your old switch as close to first bit of undamaged cable as possible and use some thru crimps to crimp the new switch onto your wiring...
i guess if your cars been mot'd then they can work out the mileage pro rata using the mot mileage and number of months since the mot took place. it will be obvious if your doing alot more miles than you claim...having said that its only an estimate you give.
