Was havin a bit of car banter with a lad in a bar last night, he's got a 55 182ff. He claimed that he spent £700 at K-tec for some stage-1 tuning kit and he now has 230bhp....... Am i right to think this is bu"sh't?
I've got what appears to be glue left over from service stickers on my Sun Visors... Any advice on how to get it off??

Spot on Vid that fella, some serious pull.... Thats why we all love our Clio's. ps your steering while is in top condition, wis i could say the same about mine... 31 degrees sunshine took its toll!
I'm not sure if they are the Konig's. They've just released a whole new John Cooper Worx range and they've got some similar rims in there. Possibility....

Its just a little Rubber boot that surrounds the Constant Velocity (C.V) joint. Basically its their to protect the joint from dust and the elements and to keep it covered in grease. Simple small job to replace but an MOT fail if not done.
I have a feeling that it was my car.... I have a Private plated SIlver 172. Unfortunately it would of been my brother driving it, such a shame! So good news on one part
£440 is a lil over budget but spose i could save longer and get the best. I'm not just wantin a lower look. For £400+ i'm wantin major benefits over standard set-up. Whats fitting like?
Right, lookin for a complete set-up.. Springs & shocks. Wondering what the best performance to price opyions are out there. Tryin to decide between Koni or Spax adjustables. Cheers
Anybody know whether fitting 16" OZ Super Turismo's will loose conciderable amount of weight compared to standard 172 alloys? Any help appreciated, Cheers
Why Put 17's on your 172..... You sacrificing handling and speed for the sake of an inch! Stick with 16's and get some super lightweight wheels, would be wiser choice mate. However, yes you can fit them with no scrubbing, but you cant have a heavy rear-end otherwise you'll get horrible noises.
Definately would to be honest mate. However, dont think the feelings mutual... I've flashed my beems at many a Fellow sport but just had funny looks in return. So who knows..
Right, i'm not suggesting you lye to the insurance companies, as some people on here are whiter than white and think this is morally wrong! But, you are gunna need to try and "flex" your policy. Dont say that you work in a busy pub (if u do), they then assume you're parking in an unsafe and dark...
Having an absolute Tw"t of a time getting the bolts undone. Trying with a 10mm on the right and its connecting fine but the left i cant get to, it wont bite. Any ideas or help please, cheers
I'm 18 with 1 years NCB.... Grand total for insurance is £1860! Thats with an increase of £260 because mother has "poor driver history" (they increased because someone crashed into her!) Good point above though, use each insurance compnay to fight the other. Say Admiral gave u £300 less than...
Had major confrontation with a kurb today and lost .. tracking is way off, anybody know anywhere decent in/near Newcastle that can sort this out? cheers
