You need a new UPC.
In the other post about the fuse box. I would just remove that upc/fuse box and check it over for any water damage. If all that seems ok, do a drain test.
This basically tests wether the car is pulling a small current all the time, draining your battery.
Even better test would be to remove the fuel filter, shake it up and drain it through the plug at the bottom. Check for metal particles. Don't forget to wash out the fuel tank aswell.
I'm afraid your describing symptoms of a classic high pressure pump breaking up. Don't know why but always seems to be on the 04 or 54 plate models. My first test would be to do a diagnostics test looking at live data. Compare the rail pressure to the desired rail pressure. My bet is low fuel...
Scrap that, just seen you have already done this in another thread. Seems you already have the modification done aswell. Have you done a battery drain test?
