Thanks for that, I will take a look. I think recognise that username from FiatForum, didn't you have the black Integrale? I saw it at Stanford when I had a fiat. If so it was possibly my all time favourite motor.
Now it's dark early I have noticed my brake lights don't come on unless I give the pedal quite a push. I like it so just a touch lights them up. Anyone know how I can adjust it or is it a trip to the stealers.
I had S595's on my Fiat Stilo and I thought they were a lot better than the Pirelli's and latterly the Vredesteins. I recall paying about £60 a corner though.
Worse case indeed; which is where I am at the moment. Mine went to a Direct Line approved garage who went into administration and when I finally got the car back after 35 days the work was sub-standard. Direct Line sent their inspector out and they agreed to send it to Hylton Renault for a go. I...
I am in a very similar situation. I had a rear quater panel and a sill resprayed recently by the garage Direct Line recommended. At first glance it looked good but a bloke with an 'eye' for paintwork said there's overspray in three areas including two of my alloys!!
Now whilst my car was in...
It's dependant upon the type of pressure washer you have but they come with different fittings. Mine is the Karcher type and it produces incredibly thick foam. However, having used it a few times with different solutions I am not certain that the benefits are there.
I honestly don't think banning him would be a good thing. You gotta give him 10/10 for entertainment value. I'm warming to the guy in a none ghay sort of way.
Back off guys, Brad says:-
He can calculate the downforce of a 197 diffuser by a photograph.
He knows that four pot's are completely uneccesary on a Clio
His understanding around heel & toe'ing is on a different level to what anyone else can comprehend.
Evo editors know less than Barry in the...
Depends how deep is "deep". Wet sanding might get you there but I'd be taking depth readings before attempting that. Small affected area should mean a smallish bill if you take it to a body shop.
Let's see wgat the outcome is. Direct Line say that they have acted in accordance with the policy. My involvement with KMPG (the administrators) is between me and them, Direct Line are refusing to accept they have anything to do with the issue!!. Letters have been sent to the Financial...
I have a £30 pressure washer which produces max 100 bar. Got it from Argos over six years ago. I took a punt and bought a foam lance not knowing if it was good enough to produce a good foam. It literally coated the 197 in a thick (possibly too thick) foam in seconds. With the normal gun on it...
Update, respray is shoite!! took it to a bodyshop and they have pointed out a few flaws with the respray. Overspray/pitting/missing clearcoat?
Direct Line sent an inspector to see for themselves and he agrees, the repair company dropped the ball. Now they are booking it into Hylton Renault of...
Should be interesting.
