might not be of much use but i uprated mine new OE one myself with the help of some cable ties to prevent it overstretching and drooping. I "think" its doing fine under there but i havent checked in a few weeks :)
also the ashley only do the twin pipe for the 172 i think which is not to everyones taste

i try to check the physical level weekly and use the in-car gauge as a rough guide in between, if your oil level is infact between MIN - MAX then your car might have just been having a bad day at the office !
i have just had my alloys refurbed satin black and decided to give them some protection with some old turtle wax i have lying around, the problem is especially on the rear of the alloys they have left a white marking - what can i use to remove this - i have already tried daisy apc with no luck...

your rear brakes hardly do anything, especially if you have a cup. is your braking efficiency good overall? providing it is and your handbrake works as it should it sounds normal
