try demon tweeks, they have a range in the motorsport section, or failing that i've seen an add in the back of race and track car for a company, can't remember the name though.
you probably don't want the car any lower than it will sit anyway. if the car is too low your roll centre will effectively be underground, which increases mass leverage and increases understeer. if you want to set the car for driving chances are h&r know what they are doing. if you are building...
i don't know why, to do with the weight saving. i had a chat with dave at k-tec. and i remember him saying my ff would be a better base for a turbo conversion for this reason.
i think the effect will be to remove the abs? or is that just with 172 cups? i think the cups run unequal length driveshafts too, so if your car makes more power you will get more torque steer. (i think)
if you want something similar to the turinis but still different have a look at braid. gdi sell them but they are expensive. if you google braid you will find some cheaper places. buddy club are worth a look too.

mine took about five weeks, but they were ordered from the competition department at the start of racing season, so they were probably at the bottom of the list.
and thinking about it, the best one i have seen i r666mum on a ralliart evo 7. driven by a middle aged woman round my way.
not sure if it means evo or evil mum, but either will do!!
kw don't make a v3 for the clio. except the vee. you would need to speak to the competition dept. i have just got a set which cost about 1200, they are however awesome! for your gearbox, if you go down the road of the re-build you should speak to a company called frozen solid. they treat parts...
