Just thought i'd put a few pics up of my other toy...
Started life as a 1.4 16v corsa sport, however i soon got bored and fitted a 140bhp 1.6 16v engine:
this was how it stayed for a while, however i still hankered for some more, so here started my relationship with Jamie of JAMsport...
not many aftermarket ecu's out their for diesels, infact i think motec did some testing with one, they need very powerful drivers to feed the injectors which makes them very costly!
having been trading for over 15 years we have developed alot of kits, mainly ford and vauxhall, however with track cars becomming more and more common with customers, and the clio being a perfect basis for alot of people to start from we decided to act on this and see what we can do.
the inlet...
sorry when it says matched to the head it was matched the the gasket. not the head.
to be honest i was expecting a far amount of long timers who know better to rubbish the figures, however all i know is i removed my rs inlet off the car, fitted a ported rs inlet which was enlarged, matched...
ford actually released a limited edition run of fiesta st 150's and called them the st500, they had the 500 style graphics, all black with black wheels, they did 500 of them
i can do them now, i have an rs inlet being done as we speak.
what else do you want doing, anything from a basic service to ITB conversions or supercharger conversions etc...
supercharger.
to be honest we have had our development car do 35,000miles in 14months and not had a single problem with the location.
its not as low as the k+n typhon filter location or the pipercross VIS kits for the 20v vags
well as can be seen above it works well with a ported inlet! i should have done a run with the exhaust and one with exhaust and inlet, but i didnt have time and i wanted to go to bed!
exhaust fits really well tho, makes a change from some of the systems we see thru our workshop!
how accurate is our rolling road, well we calibrate it every 3 months.
however one run to the other was a few hours apart, the proof of there being a gain is still there, did 3 runs with no difference rather that just one run on each set up.
I didnt believe the gains would be anywhere near...
did a bit of work on the clio last night, people have always been saying the standard inlets are rubbish, very poor matching etc. so i took the liberty of finding a spare inlet and matching it, open it up to match the head etc...
to be honest i was impressed with the gain, but it matches what...
