I'm in the process of uploading the mobile phones onto our phone switch so it displays a name on the incoming calls, rather than just a mobile number.
I've got a full list of names and numbers in an Excel 2003 spreadsheet, but I'd like to add the word 'Mobile' at the end of everyone's name e.g...
How did he go on (assuming it was him! :o).... did he manage to sell it?
The RSi looked the absolute nads - really spot-on perfect and for a decent price, imo.
Can't believe it had 84k on the clock!!

Most CDs that you get with hardware are just full of crap - usually old drivers, apps and crap games.
In a 7900GTX box that arrived this week, I thought I'd have a quick mooch on the CDs and see what was there. Clicked on the demo games bit and one was called Armored Fist 3.
Being a bit of a...
Means diddly-squat to me in my daily job, but some Mac users maybe interested?

First time I'd been on track at Donington and being the co-pilot, had quite a few chances to take some pics. I really need a more powerful camera!
Anyways...... on the way out (grinning like a big kid at this point )
Under the Dunlop bridge....
Some Yorkshireman...

Ok, so it's no longer the cutting edge of graphics - no DX10 support, etc. But for the money, it's still a good card. And it appears to be in stock too. :)

If I restart a Linux webserver, will all the services restart without the need to logon after reboot - pretty much like a Windows server?
I've got an issue where the server is not emailing new customers back their 'Click here to activate' emails. Hence, we've several new customers who cannot...
One was an arctic blue 182 with stripes with private plate and the other a dark blue 172 with large rims and a slightly mahoosive sounding pipe.
Anyone off here?

I've downloaded the v7.04 desktop client with the aim of trying it out on my other PC at home. I'm very new to Linux, so was wondering if Ubuntu was the best option?
Any feedback or suggestions, would be great!
Cheers,

Well, this weekend should have been the Gold Cup Classic at Oulton Park, with various old cars on there. Some unique eye-candy there, but totally outclassed by the rally cars - absolute motoring p**n, imo....
Metro 6R4...
RS200 getting it a bit wrong....

Made me laugh though......

Could the life-expectancy of the CPU be measured in seconds? ;)

A bloke looking none too disimilar to a certain Mr. Lloyd......
...seen driving on the M65, eastbound. The Trophy reg started YH55, iirc?
He did break 80mph at one point - but eased off before reaching 88mph. Damn. Anyways, the Trophy looked nicer than a De Lorean.....

Spotted it going up the sliproad this afternoon. I was a few cars behind (not in the 182).
No CS sticker that I could see, but like I said, there was a K&N one near the Reno badge on the boot.
Anyone?

Is it wrong for a bloke of 32 to have two carrier-bags full of microfibre?!
Had a bit of a tidy-up this morning and I swear that these cloths have been breeding - I don't even remember where half of them came from!
Maybe I keep seeing packs of them for sale and forget that I've already got...
... are they unique to that Macbook specifically? I.e. - if we lost them, are we shagged? Or would other CDs from other Macbooks reinstall just as well?
Haven't lost the originals (as yet!) - but just checking....
Cheers,

Anyone off here? On that little slip-road down the side of the Land Rover garage off Junc.12, M65.
You were out of the car and heading for the postbox.

Just a little techie question, if there is!
We've got quite a few 1841-ADSL routers happily running along with no problems.
Yet we have two of the 1841-SDSL versions and both seem to be very busy, even though they are doing little. One supports just three PCs via a VPN and the CPU on the...
....... bought for one of the guys here, for home use.
Looks superb in black. Went for 2GB memory for it too, so that should be plenty.
The Dark Side is forever more tempting...... ;)

Well, after finally getting the rear bearings delivered, and the ABS rings kindly donated by Stevie and fitted to the new rear discs - yesterday had the 182 with some new anchors on.
The actual fitting was mainly down to StevieGreenstuff and me dad. I did a few impressions of looking...
....in the top centre of the rear window.
Went past us in a bizarre set of circumstances. We'd just come back from Rochdale and Jain spotted a bloke at the bus-stop with blood pouring from his head.
We pulled up around the corner and walked back, by which time another couple in a Focus had...
Spotted it coming the other way through traffic. Only glanced at the plate - could have started YP55, though I'm not sure on that.
It was either carrying some weight or it had been lowered too.... ;)
Early afternoon today (30/7/07)

Well, it was a great day to clean the car. A bit too good in a way as the sun was really strong. The neighbours were out so it was a good excuse to nick some of the shade on offer... ;)
A decent amount of black goldage going on....
However, mine was totally outclassed by...
Having had it confirmed that my original set of discs and pads have long since seen better days, I was after some suggestions for replacements?
I could just reorder original Reno spec parts, but I'm guessing that better spec stuff isn't much more to buy?
Any thoughts or ideas would be...
I'm doing well this week!
Not only did I get a first drive of Stevie's Ph.1 172, but after finishing work today, but Chris (Chris & Nic) brought his modded 172 Cup around for me to have a go.
Apart from the obvious lightening of the car with it being stripped out and fitted with...
