managed to get the fecker sorted. took ns front wheel off, removed wheel lining to access horn. checked feed and was going 12v when horn pressed on sterring whel so wasnt steering wheel at fault. Undid 13mm bolt holding horn on and cleaned with wire brush. Removed all contacts and cleaned...

erm.. I only wanted to check if the buttons & rotary switch were working or if the horn was faulty. I had the steering wheel replaced mostly under warranty as the leather had split on the edge.
