    I dont think they will fit mate but i may be wrong, why do you wanna put the 182 brakes on your 1.4 mate ?.. Seems a lot of work for little gain imo, you'd be better off upgrading your discs with better pads tbh

    I think it should be 3 clicks from memory, Adjust the cable and if it dont sort it then you may need to replace the cable as it may be stretched due to use over the years Hope that helps

    No not really because when you sand you'll make the lense rough while sanding out the defects, You'll need a machine polisher to polish it back up to a good finish...

    Lol dude i wasnt in my car i was sitting at the side of the road enjoying the scenery pmsl... the 197 was at the depot... I waited there until 3:30am when a tow truck came and unlucky for me he got the bus working so i had to drive the bus back to the depot !!!

    Yeah once the valves had been seated and new belts have been fitted etc and its all been timed correctly then it will run no prob mate.. I know its worrying but trust me it'll be ok lol

    they didnt want to attemp to rebuild it as RUK were saying as it was only a year old and with such low mileage it would be in their best interests to slap a new lump in for piece of mind... Car never felt the same after though :( Was glad to chop it in this year and get my 197... Much better...

    Cambelt snapped at 20k, Done 16 valves and wrecked 2 pistons... Bent the rods too so they say, But due to the car only being a year old (04) they put a spanking new lump in.. 6 weeks total repair time.. Well most of that was shipping the new engine to be fair but was anxious times

    Yeah then defo a day or two mate... Anxious times isnt it.. I waited 6 weeks in total for my 182 when it went pop... They told me it would only take a week so you can imagine how i felt every other day when they pushed it further back lol.. Best day ever when i picked her up...

    Depends on gearing too as obviously determines engine RPM.. When my belt snapped i was pulling away from lights and just got into second so was prob doing about 20mph @ say 3k rpm... Smashed every valve plus destroyed 2 piston crowns... Luckily under warranty though

    +1 they generally click when reading writing but if the ticking is slow then usually means its fubarred.. On my XPS M1730 i had a raid failure but luckily it told me the HDD so i swapped that out

    Either that or delete the RAID drive and re-stripe it then restore.. happend on mine and worked ever since.. Thats the prob with RAID set up's.. Sweet when working but can cause some serious issues when its goes pear shaped
