Mine went down from 600 euros last year to 540 (no tefth, fire etc...)...28 years old, 1st insurance...here in italy we can inherit the insurance class from our parents if we live with them. I guess we're very lucky!
Which clios have the same subframe as the 172FF again? I'll have a look at the local scrapyards.
My right front wheels is a bit closer to the wing/door then the left one too and i suspect the subframe cause the car has been in an accident with the previous owner.
A few people told me that the weitec have too low springs rate so the car hits the bumpstops pretty often.
I'm thinking of gettin the higsports for my 172FF.
I'd go for the dogbone purple ones, RS bushes on the front lower arms, and stock new bushes for the arb (they tell me reinforced ones could induce understeer, like fitting a bigger arb)
As I thought. I'll wait for the k-tec or to have some more money sto spend in some quality ones (I could get Bilstein from germani at around 750 euros).
Mmm I think -0,4 is ok for a car without camber bolts. Are you sure your friend's hasn't got them?
Mine was around those value, and asymmetric too, without the bolts, now it's around 0,9 and 1,1.
I'm thinking of getting a set next week...i've got stock wheels on the 172, do you think a set of 15 mm spacers would be a good idea to fill the arches and give it a bit more stability?
Do I risk to scrub the wheels with them and the raceland?
If I have a vat number does k-tec sell them vat not...
I think all the k-tec exhaust are too loud with a decat. I find even the superstealth too loud and i'm going to fit a sports cat. The one for 182 manifold 172 exhaust from k-tec sounds good and not too expensive. Plus I have mot next year.
The only think about nitrogen is that it doesn't permit combustion like common air.
It's a lot of time since i heard about tyre explosion!
The problem is, tyres permit a little level of molecular exchange, in a few months what was pure nitrogen becomes common air.
Much better to use air and...
exactly mx1...when I prepared my 1.8 wheels for the winter tyres I had to remove almost all the paint around the lip with a screwdriver because it was flaking...i "tested" all the paint with the tip of the driver to see if it made a "paper" sound, there is where you have to remove the paint...
I just got my 172 stock wheels painted...prep DIY with recostruction of the lip in many points...i left them rest for a few days...then i had them painted by the local shop for 50 euros in custom dark gray...primer, 1 layer of paint all around, 2 on the outer face, laquer. After a week i brought...
I'm thinking to order a set from germany, with a vat number they'll cost me around 790 euros.
I've tried them on a few cars and they seem to be the perfect setup for the road, they absorb bumps very well but at the same time they give you a lot of confidence in the grip of the car...quality...
I've got the super stealth in mild steel and is too loud too..i'll get a more silenced center section as I like the hidden look, or a sport skat instead of the dekat.
We did that...maybe it could go a bit further, when we fix the other mount we'll see.
For the videos, update your codecs (i suggest Combined Community Codec Pack) or try videolan. What do you mean "doesn't sound like much"?
Steve honestly Vpower (100, as it is here in italy) is way too expensive, i've seen it at 1.5 euros per liter and more...I usually use Agip Blusuper, is only 5 eurocent more than normal petrol, 98 octane. Maybe it's not as good as shell, but it's 1,40 vs 1,5+
When i'll go for a remap i'll have...
Thursday we fitted the dogbone purple bushes.
We were in a hurry so we couldn't fit the rubber mont, but I can already tell you that the problem is still there but is WAY less noisy and it doesn't vibrate unless I smash the throttle over 4k rpm in 1st, 2nd and 3rd, in that case I can feel the...
I remember some experiment on japan cars with an electric motor that helped the turbo to start spinning, something to reduce turbo lag and throttle response. I guess it wasn't worth it.
