Looking for part numbers for front and rear topmounts for a 1.2 16v clio. Would I be right in thinking these will fit a ph1 172?

Have been considering removing my air-con over the last week or so and looking for info as to what is needed. Is it as simple as taking the compressor out and fitting a shorter aux belt? Or would i really need the cup alternator and bracket and cup PAS pipe? If so, why is that?

Basically my drivers side front sidelight is refusing to work. Replaced the bulb and fuse and still no joy, connections all look fine. Passenger side is working perfectly. Any ideas??

Since fitting my group n upper engine mount and powerflex dogbone bushes i've noticed that when driving the car, when i let off the accelerator and press the clutch to change gears the revs jump slightly until i let go of the clutch and accelerate again. Is this an early sign of clutch slip?

Have a set of powerflex dogbone mount bushes here to fit to my ph1 172 with the inline type mount. Just before i start, how do i get the old bushes out??

My rear wheel bearing is fairly f*cked, to the stage where my rear wheel is wobbling quite a bit. I ordered a set of rear discs with bearings off k-tec but they won't be here til next week some time, so was wondering will I be ok to drive for a while, or am I likely to wreck the hub?

i've just taken my engine cover off because of the usual rattle problems, but now that its off i see the coilpack is fairly exposed to any water that might creep in. is it ok to leave it off or am i best to just endure the rattle??

I've noticed under heavy acceleration in first gear and high up the rev range in 2nd gear that there is a loud enough knocking coming from under the front of the car. It doesnt feel jumpy as if an engine mount might be gone, but there is a slight wobble when taking off slowly from standstill...
