Gearboxes waffer fin? I never had any problems with mine! Was proper solid compared to the 182 (which also wasn't bad either). 30-32 mpg mixed driving (not round town) I found also which is none too bad for the type I car it is.

Knowing what i know now i'd have kept my 182 all day long rather than chopping it in for a 197 (as good as it was). If you've got spare cash there's no questions that a well spec'd 200 is the best however if you havnt and a cars not a massive priority i wouldnt poor more money into another RS.

Gally mate I could count how many times I cleaned the 197 this year on one hand! lol I'm over the top on looking after a car mechanically and hate any dings or scratches but as far as cleaning cars go its a chore for me. Will look into this C1 malarky I think.

^What do you mean expensive to maintain? In what way? I'm currently thinking about a 200 as the 197's just about to fall out off warranty and I don't want to be caught out but to be honest to date the 197 hasn't cost me much to maintain at all.
