I have a 197 with options which pretty much mirrora the R27's and love it! Iv had performance Clios since 19 so it wasnt really step up in terms of performance coming from the 182 but for you coming from a 1.2 it'll feel like a super step up. You'll love it im sure.

No. Its no more a classic than a mk 1 16v which is not a classic. The only classics or pending classics are the Williams, Trophy, V6, R27's and Gordini's imo.

Haha, so general opinion from the men in the know is there's no great urgency to get it washed! I think iv been out in rain a few times since the snow cleared anyway and like i say didn't use it in the snow so don't think there's massive amounts on the car anyway it's mostly grub.

Running costs are not shocking!!! lol Its a 12 month service interval, the tax is the same iirc, insurance group a 15 instead of 16, the reliability is the same but fuel will be more if you're using it loads. I loved my 182 for the four years i owned it but you will not be dissapointed on...

A few reasons mate but mainly because after 4 years of owning the LY i fancied something different. That 182 was spotless though and on less than 30k at the time of selling it so now the noveltys worn off of the new car (which i barely use to tell you the truth) im regretting it a bit.

Nothing mate, 100% out of the box but it does have the Recaro's and Cup Chassis so its basicly an R27 minus the decals but with Black Speedlines anyway! lol LMFAO ;)

Yeah i reckon you're right mate, the R27's and spec'd 197's are better cars but i still would've kept my LY 182 in Feb and not changed if i could go back though. Lucky you for being able to keep the pair.
