Well good luck with yours steve but looks like mines staying put for now as the dealer never bothered coming back!
Business must be booming at Renault....
Im with Steve.
I have owned three different performance Clios in the last 8 years from your very age (a ph2 Black 16v with factory leathers, LY 182 and now a full kitted 197) and would never consider buying the basic although im sure to some it'll be decent enough.
RS's are brilliant (im...
If I intended on owning the new car after two years I would be thinking along similar lines steve but because of the milage im doing these days a new car that comes with the peace of mind of a warranty makes sense!
Especially if I take the thousands iv got tied up in mine that could end up...
Cheers Steve!
I would be happy with between 9 and 10 anyway so I won't be pricing myself out!
Oh to think I sold an early 182 only a year and half ago for 7.5k. Depreciations gone mad.....
Thats what i was hoping for to be honest mate but didn't know whether I would struggle considering the value of early 200's.
I will see what Toomey come back with regarding prices tomorrow and then decide but I suppose it's abit of a gamble on mine selling.
Milage is in the first post and the condition is as to be expected for a car of its age on that milage really!
In a nutshell I would say it's in no worse condition than either of my previous 2 sports that have sold to the first eyes that looked at them, has 16k on the clock, FRSH, has been...
^Sorry Albert, using the iPhonrigorous write posts is not the best.
How much is being unreaslistic?
I was thinking with 200's creeping in at 11/12k for the early ones it would be easy to sell the higher miled early 197 than the later 197's unless people are still worried about the looks of...
As per title is it easy or hard at the moment?
I'm currently looking at taking out a finance deal on a new 200 and taking the money out of my 197 as for personal reasons it will better suit my circumstance if I can get the right money both sides but being that i'll be taking a chance on being...
Either you had a very heavy right, did more around town driving than fast a/m road driving or that's complete rubbish then.
I have been doing 250 miles minimum a week for 7 weeks now and have managed 380 to the tank every time using Ultima.
LOL.
197 all day.
If you're not likely to be trying mirror Jenson Button as soon you leave your drive and can deal in abit of mixed driving you should be in the 30mpg's all day long.
Indeed i always rememeber Dreamland in Margate when i was really young (the theme park of one of the only fools episodes) which was run down and closed and that makes me abit sad as some good times were had there.
Must be that orange looping coaster in the pics (the looping star?) thats...
Its not that bad if you're doing moving motorway/A road miles but in stop start traffic it eats up fuel for fun.
I get 350 to 400 miles at 33/34 mpg in the 197 using the best juice from BP.
I was thinking the same!
Iv been chuffed with mine (driving wise) since selling PSJ the LY but it is pretty much an R27 without the decals.
Not sure if i would be as impressed with a lesser spec'd one.
I have recently just started commuting to work (250 basic with some business) and im averaging 33/34 mpg using Ultima on the motorway and fast A roads.
My latest tank has covered 270 miles already and if whats left is anything to go by it will be heading for 400 miles.
My work collegue has...
Really? I prefer it with the R27 toys, no stickers and Speedlines personally.
Mines grown on me but i would hardly call it the best looking hatch ever made.
Im your age and was driving a Valver by 19 and and 182 by 21 and probably still would as far as petrol costs go!
I think the biggest difference is that we were paying (i speak for myself but probably others aswell) circa £1000 fully comp to insure these cars then rather than 3 or 4 times that...
Is it called Nimbus Grey though?
Having not looked at the log book i wouldnt know but you cant just make up your own colour. lol
Lucky boy!
I would say CTR Cosmic Grey is a Grey but Nimbus is a dark silver.
I just wondered what the wider scale of people considered it to be as...
Is it silver or is it grey?
Iv seen alot of people recently call it grey whether on here or elsewhere in adverts so what is the correct colour or isnt there one?
I ask as iv always thought of it as silver but looking at it alongside a silver car the other day it was a fair bit duller.
I actually liked the combat 2 wide arched Corsa's with pearly paint! :o
OZ Velas were my favourite 'chav' wheel of all time though.
I was thinking the same.
