£250 should get you a set. Make sure they have the centre caps, as they are rare as hens teeth & £16 each from Renault new! Lots have been refurbed so make sure your happy with the colour. Polished lip can be a pain.

Look great! But are a b*****d to clean, as a slightest nick and the corrosion gets in quick. And once its in they will never b the same. Even refurbing them, it would come back!

Hi Guys, I'm having the usual problem of a disintergrating phase 1 172 steering wheel after 36K!. It must be the two sovereign rings I wear on each finger!:rasp: Got a ph2 172 steering wheel how easy is it for a semi-competant garage to swop over? Any help would be great. Thanks Adam

Rear wheel bearings are a common soft spot, can go as early as 40k!

R & P Woods in Heaton, Newcastle may be a good bet. But there seems to be a shortage of decent Renault specialist Garages in the North East. I need a cam belt and tensioner change, so I'll be going to talk to them. I'll let you know if I think they will be any good.
