finally got it done as i heard a few horror stories about them going and doing a fair bit of damage. mine had needed doing for about a year and in that year it had taken me to and from work nearly every day, done all my erons for me of a weekend, gone to devon and back and got a 15.8 time down...
i usually use a autoglym flexy blade and an autoglym leather but its a bit of a pain having to keep ringing out the shammy. are these better for soaking up more of the water before needing a good sqeeze out or is there not really that much difference.
ive just been looking on the k tec website and had a quick brouse at the cams. it says that the cams are used without the vvt. is this a standard thing to lose the vvt when camming or can you buy cams to use with the vvt as well. also what affect does losing the vvt have if you do go down that...
just started doing it this morning. was going down a road and the car felt like it just didnt want to go but when i slowed down to turn, when i accelarated to go into the road it was fine. there was no dash lights on or anything so i thought nothing of it then after work some 8 hrs later it...
just thought id have a rant as im pi$$ed off because ive kirbed my wheels. all because a dosey bint in the petrol station would move over enough for me to get past. now im ganna havto re do them again. my ocd is kicking in already.
this is a bit weird. if i am going down the road in a strait line and the steering wheel is strait then i take a sharpish left turn. when i get back on a strait, my steeing wheel is still as if i am turning left. but the same happens if turning right too:S. what the hell would that be:dead:

if you have the inlets matched, do you have them matched with the head as well? if so how would it make a difference if you bought a set of ready matched inlets as your head would not have been matched with them.
or have i got it compleatly wrong.
as above, i need a new one making up and a mate of mine`s mom and dad do graphics. but as i dont have the old one to show them i need the dimensions
cheers

when i got my 172 it was missing the service book but as he still had a load of recepts from all the services. i recently decided to get a new blank service book as i didnt want the next person who buys the car to think it has not been looked after whilst in my care.

was having a disscusion with a mate and he turned around and said "why dont you get nos on your 172" and i said that i though you had to play about with the internals of the engine so it didnt go bang and in the end probly wouldnt be worth it for the money anyway. then he said that you dont...
was a sivler ph1 172 (might have been a rep as it didnt have standard rear bumper and front bumper didnt look fitted properly) parked just past kingsbury school then a bit ferther on a ph 2 silver 172 parked up both on the same side as the school.

my car makes a diesel type noise once warmed up on idle then goes away once it has some revs but then comes back when the revs drop back down to idle. i had a mate of a mate look at it today and he said that he thinks it could be the variable valve controller pulley but said to come on here and...
im sure some of the midlands crew that have seen donnys car, noticed that the paint was flakeing off his car like crazy and his front bumper looked like some one had been practising their artexing skills on it (no offence donny lol). so when he came to me, i was only to happy to get it sorted...
