as above what is the diameter on 172 engine?
i could measure it but im 40 miles away from the car and its a hell of a journey just for that :rolleyes:

im not bothered about runners (only me driving it so once its set up its all good) so i was thinking of getting these...

is there anything particular that needs to be done to make a roll cage safe/strong. i was basically going to take a pic of a cage in that fits the clio and ask them to make something...
am i right in thinking the 172's had a problem with release bearing failing (normally somewhere around the 60k mark?)

only reason i ask is that i ordered a clutch fork and release bearing (come as a kit) from renault and when it arrived at the main...

when i bought the car off the previous owner he handed me the keys and said right the main key works the drivers door and none of the others (pass door and tailgate locks are paggered), then pointed to the immobiliser dongle jobby and said what it was for, then there was another smaller key on...

borrowed my brother in laws van and went to pick up a trailer i was borrowing off a friend of a friend (never seen this trailer before but was told the lad uses it to transport land rovers!)
