that colour is superb! Kinda like the colour I like on the S14a Nissan 200sx, ie the aubergine one.
the 350Z is an awsome looking car. Kinda the same effect as when the TT first turned up, it just looks soooo nice.
think the car looks nice. Lower it a touch, get some tints, and add a kit that extends the lines of the car as opposed to changing them.
I like the wheels though. An idea would be to open the holes where the fog lamps are supposed to go and turn them into air intakes?
MR2 tubbies are about the most mental motors I have ever driven for rear end arse out action. Mind you they can be a little unpredictable in the wet to say the least.
Have noticed that the Clio does tell you exactly what it is doing, nice to have a car that allows you to "play" with it on the...
racing can be found anywhere you "really" look. when you ask "how do you know when you win", its fecking obvious, you have left them standing and are 2 mile further down the road!
Real races are for money and rarely start earlier than 1am. Last one I saw was for 5K, now thats a race!
You...
I think I am going to have to wait until I can afford the 1.9Dci cos I like the idea of 120bhp and nearly 200nm of torque. The 6 speed box and all the toys would make it a nice car.
Would go for a 172 but its just toooo small, fine when only Im in it but an arse if I wanna carry passengers, no...
Does anyone on here have a new Megane? Im kinda sick of the 1.2 16V Clio and its gutless performance (well total lack of performance tbh). Was thinking of changing for a new Megane (probably a diesel cos my fuel bills are a bit high).
2 main questions are :
--they appear to be "better"...
have seen a Saxo with 106 boot and vice versa b4. They are far too close imho. Its the way manufacturers are going nowadays, build one car and market it as two (think Seat Alhambra, Ford Galaxy, VW Sharron, or Rover 216GTi and the Honda Concerto) Many examples, means brand appearance and...
they are called spigot rings aint they. and yes you do need them. I fitted the wheels without them at first and the car didnt run "true". As soon as they were fitted th car ran like a dream.
If you buy some without them get your local alloy wheel firm to order you a set, shouldnt cost more...
I can always print flyers in Black and White in relative volume if needed. A nice Network 17 IBM printer kinda fell into the house from work . Dunno how that happened, also seemed to arrive with two toner cartridges and 1000sheets of paper.
BTW like the flyer, but would be harsh on a...
yeah but the rally look is cheaper. Costs nothing to strip the back seats out, costs nowt (relatively) to buy cheap compos. Some rally sl*g mudflaps and a decent zorst and the car would look superb. Car is also lighter due to the stripped out look so is faster! To go for a cheap rollcage LOOK...
One thing I have noticed is that when I drive a proper fast car I tend to cruise around at about 55-60 cos I know I can drive fast if I want to. But, when driving the Clio I tend to be the same until a twisty road opens up infront of me. I just cant drive it slowly round bends cos its the only...
yeah but have you seen the price of the BMW One, its fecking ridiculous! I can get a Z3 2.9 with the M - Power wheels, factory hard top and all the toys for 15K on an X plate, why would I pay 20K+ for a One?
I know alot of people like them but I just cant believe the price!
Can someone gimme...
3 yes, 3 BMW Ones (they aint MINIS!) on the same road. one of them stopped at the end and said "is that one of those 172 things?" I laughed and said " dont think so, more like 1.2 mate" he wasnt happy and drove off in a temper. How I laughed! Even on the strip the 1.6 One is only about 1 sec...
Hire car minimum, repairs fully done to your standard, not theirs, (remember if the car was at all marked b4 accident take this into account-I know someone that wanted a concours finish on a car that was rusting to bits in a similar situation)
Clutch obviously free (pedal that is)
Cambelt...
remember, no lowered cars into York. that in road is fecking awful! Need a bloody 4x4 to get up it! (well not really but you would think they would fix it)
Any 1.2s up for the game? May run mine if someone else does. Its got no engine mods and 17s with a lot of ice so winning shouldnt be...
If they dont fix it refuse it. Personally I would refuse it on the Paint alone, as a Renault bodysho[p dont give you the same warranty as the standard Renault paint warranty, thus reducing the amount of warranty you have.
Reject and get another, why not, could it be worse?
Personally I think...
the kit is a carzone kit and looks quite good irl if done well. there is one up here in Newcaslte and one on the Strathycruise site (i think) with an f40 bonnet vent. IMHO if you cant afford a 172 then a "done up" 1.2 16v is the only way left to go.
I hate the front bumper as shown but the...
why buy an S14 200? buy a cheap S13 and you have money for a rebuild and new turbo, along with some coilovers. Bargain. My next car is gonna be an S13, unless I can afford an S14a, ie the one with the really nice headlights!
Dont think u can get a Clio to catch a 200?
I would love a 172, cant afford one. Can afford a Cup, dont like not having ABS, and would always feel like I was missing the toys. Then again, we all like different things.
A Cup with a few of the toys would be great, dont mind no leather or climate control, but like ABS and sunroof. Would...
"Got new Cup today and there was a letter in there from CAT UK TEESPORT saying that my handbook is missing the network List Handbook. Who is CAT UK TEESPORT is it Renault or someone they employ. I love the Cup just wish the service was better, not much to ask really. "
and in real terms it...
Magnex have no warranties. Forget anything you read. Any warranty claims are pushed back saying "bad fitting" stone chip damage" etc.
But, then again, so do all companies offering lifetime warranties
just got a price from PPS on 0191 5237677 for those skirts 98> of £90. Cant be bad. Fitted and painted for my car colour would be around the £230ish price range.
Not bad eh?
will cost you about £80 for the springs, tops! and £10 per corner for fitting (if you cant do it yourself)
heres a pic of mine lowered 35mm on Spax with 17s. the ride is fine and never ever scrapes. Also can still take 5 people with no problems...
lights are way over price. buy them at euro parts or TFG in Newcaslte (they do mail order). I only paid £85 for my lexus rears!
However, gonna order those side skirts cos they are about an ok price ;)
soit does pick up radar aswell? I know I sound thick but if it picks radar aswell it will help in some ways but may aswell just get a Bell detector for less as will still get false alarms from certain radar items?
Oh bugger it, Ill repair my old one..................
