I would also like:
A steering wheel that is not from the No. 47 bus
Bring back the alloy bonnet like the one on the earlier Mk 1 172s or howsabout a carbon one as standard??
Good looking branded lightweight alloy wheels.

I got Pete in the back of mine in Spa ;)
I test drove the CTR, Biny Cooper S, and the 206 180, before we settled on our 5th Clio. The CTR, due to its VVT, has to be reved to bits all the time to get the performance out of it, and having changed fron 5th to 2nd with that stupid gearstick. All...
Is anybody going to Goodwood tomorrow that has a spair ticket as a mate of mine would love to come but I only have two tickets - one for me and one for the Mrs.
All this makes me feel old "will the last "old schooler" out shut the door after them"
And as for an old school Southend trip I would be up for that as long as it is not like the first - on a freezing Feb night!
Play nice
Hugh and Helen
Well here are the pics, they were still finding bits after about 2 hours of pulling bits off the car, what a mess.

£144.95 from Renault.
Wife hit a rabbit the other week and it ripped the splitter off her 182.
I got one off DaveF - super quick delivery.
I have replaced my 172 cup splitter with a Seat Leon Cupra R splitter only cost £20 - did need a little bit of adjustment but I think it looks good...
Ive got one for sale.
It was on my my wifes 172
but we have no use for it
anymore as she now has a 182.
Its painted Flame Red,& also includes
the rear brake light
£60 & I can bring it to
the French Car Show

Thanks Loony, know that i will get flamed to hell and back but I dont like the carbon look, I think that this is due to to many "imatations". The other thing is I think that my front end is too light at the mo as it is - getting a bit skitty on corners and this would not help the situation...
Hi there, as a lot of you know I have a "striped out" cup, but the bonet could do with a respray.
So I am looking to do one of 3 things
1) Respray the bonnet as it is
2) Get a vent fitted in to the original bonnet and then respray
3) Get a S1600 / Group N bonnet with the vent allready in...
Just found this, and wanted to know if anybody had heard of them, and if so what they thought of them.

This is what you want!
Do not be fobed off with a 182 Cheep, you will hate yourself for it later.
Our local Renault would rarther discount a 182 with cup packs than sell a 182cup.

Here is mine on the way back from Spa and the Ring.
Oh yes they are not heat proof, mine melted from the exhourst but the time we got to the ferry.
We have owned a MK1 172, a MK2 172 a 172cup and now a 182 with the cup packs.
MK1 = All around smile factor
MK2 = Nothing to write home about, but all in all a "nice" car
Cup = Punch in the face, and then a sharp blow to the knackers
182 = All the nice bits from the other models, with a...

Tbh i would go with Brembo OE discs, as they have a much higher heat rating, and a decent wear indicator system and can be had from around £50
Tom where from - will need some very soon myself
Yes - shes back to how she should look...
all the stickers are off, mudflaps off and original wheels back on - they were put on for a laugh for the Spa trip.
