It's a Clio 1.8 16v also known as a 'valver' a quick look on the autotrader will give you a idea of prices, i'd imagine they will probably range from £500-£2000 for a minter (at a guess that is)
ABS does help no matter how good a driver you are, even if you are the most careful driver out there other people can still put you into a situation where abs will help you out. 172 cups are now affordable to pretty much anyone which means many are owned by drivers who have little experience in...
I do think that ABS is a life/car saver but i wouldn't call a car 'dangerous' just because it hasn't got it.
Surely the 172 cup is one of the fastest 'affordable' cars out there with no abs though???
Renault expect to pay between 120-160 or a carbor one from ktec for around 100, many posts on this topic so worth doing a quick search.
Always ebay too
Ashdown forest is full of good spots, always get up there whenever i get a new car.
Also some good industrial shots to be had around the scrap metal industrial units around shoreham.
Loads of places to be honest, just get your camera gear all out chuck it in the car and go of for a days...
Not to sure to be honest, i'm just about to have the shocks rebuilt and i'm going to change the top mounts, ball joints and a few other bits so i think i'm going to keep hold of it for a while yet.
I'm of on holiday in it soon, going to do spa, nurburgring and then spend a week in the alps so...
If i got a ph1 i'd like to completey strip it, proper cage, tight little bucket seats and so on so sod using something like that for day to day use.
How's the flamer compared with the troff then? I'm assuming your selling the T?
Well number 322 is still going strong!
A mate of mine has just bought a sunflower yellow ph1 and it really is a nice looking car, love the front ends on them! keep thinking about selling the T buying something practical and then buying a ph1 to turn into a track toy for the weekends!
Spot on, I love everything about my trophy, really enjoying it at the moment:race:
But i have to admit i really was a doubter at first, even after i had been for a reasonable test drive, it's not until you've owned one for a while and really get to know the trophy that it shows it's true colours!
The Trophy in my opinion is about going fast, it's just a slightly more tweeked version of a very good hot hatch to celebrate the end of the MK2 clio.
If you want fast, go buy a £3k sti impreza, it'll be hugely quicker, but for me not fun like the clio.
I think there are two type of people...
