Also done this today along with a inner track rod arm, the arm which i was dreading took about 15minutes and the arb bushes took the best part the afternoon, I could not get the middle ones to bolt back up easily but finally got there!!
I couldn't believe how much differently the car drives...
To be fair yes it would be fine, i only use the 660 as i've used it before in a couple of cars i have tracked a fair amount and haven't had any issues so i stick to what i know works well on track.
I agree with the lines being much of a muchness, I've had Goodridge before and these HEL ones...
I've always used this fluid and i've never had any issues with it http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-1078-motul-rbf-660-factory-line-race-brake-fluid.aspx
You'll need to buy 1.5 litres ideally.
As for lines i have some HEL lines fitted, bought from camskill for about £55 delivered...
Yes, i really don't like seeing painted calipers in any colour other than black.
When i had my Trophy everyone was putting trophy decals on the calipers, really not my thing! Just my opinion though.
Still no luck with this.
Could this be a issue with the front caliper? When i removed the old pads and fitted the new ones the pistons moved back with little force and all the sliders are free so i just assumed everything was fine here but now i'm wondering if there could be a problem that i...
I'm going to strip down the rear this afternoon, i took the car out this morning and it's just not right, I can appreciate that the nsf locks first due to the weight like Fred said but it just locks far far too easily.
Lets hope the problem shows itself as i hate not knowing when the problem...
It's not slightly noticeable though, even light braking from high speeds really pulls on the car. Yes the sliders are absolutely fine.
My thinking with the rear caliper causing the problem is that as it's a diagonal split could it be possible that the rear os is seized (mention of this in an...
Hi All,
The braking in my 172 cup isn't all that nice at the moment.
I've only owned the car for a few weeks so far and when i picked it up the front nearside under heavy braking locked up very easily and obviously pulls the car very hard under heavy braking.
I didn't really worry too...
It's certainly not as cool looking as your 200 richard, I've sold it now anyways, just got a 172 cup which i have bought with the intentions of turning it into a track toy.
I bought the megane hoping it would be a great do everything car and it was, certainly brilliant on track but with the...
I'm guessing you work at cdg and it must be your 200 thats always parked outside? Very nice combination that is.
I think it must of been you i spoke to about a 200 when they first came out, i came over in my 182 Trophy, never got a 200, ended up with a R26.
I just had my cup wheels done buy these guys

As always with these people the wheels came back looking like new.

Hi all,
I've done the usual search but can't seem to fine an actual answer.
Can anyone tell me EXACTLY what tyres (manufacturer/model/size/rating) came on the 172 cup from the factory?
Cheers in advance

Yes i was offered this in part exchange on my megane, i did reply to the email but never heard anything abck and since have seen in advertised quite a bit.

When i sold my 182 Trophy i test drove a 200 and i didn't get on with it at all and i ended up with a Megane R26. But i don't doubt for one second the 200 is a faster car than the 182 and it amazes me people still like to think the 182 should be faster no question.
Another thing to think about...
The Guy who owns the R26R use to own the mk2 black Clio V6 on black wheels, i believe he does get on here from time to time, his doesn't have decals on (an IMO looks better for it)
There is also a LY R26 thats get around T-wells
Let me just add to this, as they are a motorsport item as you so rightly say, the seals aren't anywhere near as good as you would find on a standard road shock absorber due to the Sachs being rebuilt every season or few races as you say.
For this reason the Sachs dampers are very susceptible to...
