Konis are superb, and I believe theyve just developed a kit for the 172. I think R-Sport have fitted rally-spec Bilsteins to their car. IMHO the damping is fairly weak on the 172/Cup and hard springs (AVOs, etc.) really show it up.
Again, IMHO, unless youre constantly doing different track...
Im sure there was a guy from Holland or Belgium on here whod fitted the Sportline kit on his European 172 Mk2.
FS - believe you me, Id love to get them to produce a kit, as everytime I drive my converted 172 it reminds me how much better it is over the std setup and how everyone deserves such...

If only it were that simple, but Im afraid they wont be offering a "kit" as, although the parts involved are relatively simple, the crux of it is setting the car up properly, which can only really be successfully completed by someone with plenty of experience and knowledge in such things. No...

Amusing that theyre obviously using one of the two French demo V6s, yet theyve chosen to put an English nos plate on it on the front cover!
Sylvia - have you driven a Mk1 V6? I drove one recently, in torrential rain alas, and loved it! Even in such poor conditions, it felt much better than my 172 and that engine note is hugely addictive, as is the kick in the back from all that torque.

Whilst were on the subject, where can I get a second-hand grille for a Mk2 (doesnt have to be a 172 one) - I want to cut one up and mesh it, and keep mine spare in case I fcuk it up!
