Having spoken to project 254 he will be able to convert your Mk1 V6 to Mk2 mechanical spec to whatever level you want, within reason e.g. Mk2 engine subframe/rear roll bar/suspension, even engine/gearbox if you wish. The bodywork is trickier since all the panels are subtly different dimensions...

Theres a video kicking around of some guy spanking a Mk1 V6 in France I think. Try to find the video, and listen to the fabulous sound that engine makes. Then go and drive one and I defy you -not- to want one!!! It might not be any quicker that a 172 but it looks and sounds sooooo much better...
