Does anyone know what the triangular side indicators on the V6 255 are from - Espace, Laguna, etc? Or are they unique to the Vee (I doubt it!).
Does anyone do any aftermarket ones, perhaps the crystal clear type?
Just curious!
Lets hope my local dealer doesnt insist on having the car all day to "field test" the upgrade.

I agree. Ive only had my Vee a little over a month and I cant say I really want to entrust it to my local Renault garage to reprogram when *touch wood* its running sweetly.
Whats the score with recalls? Do you -have- to have it done? Does it invalidate anything if you dont? Is there a time...

The front ones were a doddle once Id removed the boot liner and fuse box cover with the DZUZ fastners. I was amazed at the size of the subframe and rad - no wonder theres no luggage space!
How do you remove the rear light clusters on the new V6? The manual talks about pulling up the carpet but this seems to be stuck down and I dont really want to go ripping it. Just that Ive got some SilverVision bulbs which Id like to fit...

Oh yes! Ill never forget the chase that ensued between the two racing drivers on the Renault V6 test day, resulting in much sideways action, drifting and the Vee in front on two wheels through the esses!

The Vee lulls you into a false sense of security! Its very smooth, very quiet and -very- quick. I test drove my (hopefully) future purchase a few weeks back and thought I was ambling along the dual-carriageway at 50-60...looked at the speedo and I was doing 80!!
is it me or does the Vee feel slower than it actually is? There you are happily ambling along at what feels like 50, you look down and youre doing 80!!
Question - if a 2002 02 172 in mint condition with 52k is up for £8k (which is a fair price...seen a few 02 reg 172s in dealers for £9995), how much does the mileage affect the price?
For example, my own car, same year/age/colour has done 12k miles. Does this mean I could ask any more for it?
Its a long shot, but what about getting Performance GTI to do a feature on it (it must be pretty rare i.e. a cup with 200+bhp), maybe get LAD to show up and/or Roamer. Or, just a blatent one car, oh-and-its-for-sale feature article??
