*LOL* nice idea....
I learnt the hard way - spent £1000s modding a Fiesta turbo which is now worth jack sh*t. I either keep it or flog it for bugger all!
Depends if you want a quick sale?
Alas, its doubtful if you will recover much more for the car than the std going rate for a Cup of your age/mileage etc....unless you find that elusive individual who wants the exact same spec. No matter how good the mods, a lot of people are wary of buying modded cars. Silly I know, but realistic.
I drive a Mk2 172 with tweaked suspension, which is immensely chuckable. Before I drove the Mk2 V6 on the track Id heard all the horror stories about the handling. On the track however all these vanished into thin air - the Palmersport instructors @ Bedford Autodrome encourage you to push the...
Ahh, that might explain it then!! Awesome pads tho and Ive not had them fade on me yet. Mind you, I did get the STOP/brake warning light flickering on at Bedford for some reason, and the pads werent worn....any ideas?
Ill second that as I was right behind him! I pulled over and he came flying past, then launched it into the corner and pirouetted off. I did try to hold up score cards but he was back on the track and off like a shot!! ;)
Nutta alert for sure!!

Nice one Jeremy! Is the CD of the photos with it?
yoz2a - I posted a msg about the day and asked if anyone was going but didnt see any takers so assumed I was the only one from here! It was only when I saw your pics I realised!
You did indeed overtake on the straight (I let ya past!) and...
Cool! A few people from here, myself included (yozza too I think?) were there. They did mention on the day that wed receive a copy of the article and a CD with all the photos from the day....
As a small aside, I personally found the West circuit very hard on the car (or it might just be me!). The Clio is always on the rev limiter between 2nd and 3rd round the twisty bits. The South-west track is, I think, more fun and more challenging plus its not so hard on the car....Ive bust a...
*WOW* What a day! The weather held off (just) and Renault had over ten Mk2 V6s there, including the only acid yellow one in the UK.
Everyone got two fast laps in the V6 with an instructor and then 15 minutes at the wheel driving it flat out round the track, with the instructor barking orders...
Its =in addition= to the 23rd July day, and was an utter nightmare to book! 5 calls to the 0800 nos, five messages left, not one returned call. However, a quick word with Mr.T and its all sorted - nice one Jeremy (and a huge thankyou)!
After an appalling V6 test drive at my local garage itll...
As advertised in EVO this month - RenaultSport track day with the opportunity to actually drive the new V6 at Bedford Autodrome, plus time in your own car. Just (finally) booked my place, all thanks to Jeremy Townsend!
