My KTR induction kit arrived today. Very happy with how it looks and it is huge! All I need to do now is get a smaller battery (turns out the previous owner replaced it with one which is too large) and get it fitted.
Here are a couple of pictures, I put my hand next to it so you get some...
Me too :o
I got it from here:

Far and away the cheapest I found it anywhere on the internet.
Thanks mate, I am very pleased with it. I love my Clio :D. I just can't wait to get K-tec's new induction kit on it.
The stiff shift has made a big difference to the gear shift, there is NO play in the shift now. The exhaust seems to have livened up the top end too.
I know it is just like stock when on the motorway and when driving gently but it sounds amazing after 5,000 rpm :D
No it has the standard cat. I was going to de-cat it if it was way too quiet but it sounds perfect!

However all i did was find Yanoo on here by doing a quick name search and pm'd him. He is very helpful just send him a message.
The more I drive it and look at it, the more I think, why the hell don't more people have Pipers? Or at least why aren't they recommended immediately like Milltek or the Scorpion RS192. I think it sounds, looks and fits better than both, it is lighter than both too.
It took me about 2 hours to...
Thanks, I could not be more happy with the way it fits and the noise it makes :)
I forget where I got them from now but I think you can buy some from halfords. They are much better and safer than a jack in my opinion. It also means you don't have a jack in the way of where you are working.
I...
Here's a little video of the first time the engine fired up after the new exhaust was fitted. The video doesn't give the full effect of the noise but you get the idea and it still sounds great.

I made a couple of additions to my 182 today. I thought I would create a thread on the bits I put on because they have made an already brilliant little hot hatch even better.
I fitted a stiff shift from Yanoo, I can't recommend it enough. It was a little bit fiddly to fit but nothing too...

My exhaust started blowing a couple of weeks ago and the other day it fell off just after the cat making an incredible noise. I just ordered a cat back system from Piper, can't wait to get it fitted.
If you have a Milltek on the way there shouldn't be a problem.
That’s not a bad job tbh. You will have to let me know what the Ktec one is like. I spotted it on their website the other night and although I have no idea what the difference is between there’s and any other open filter that means it doesn't lose power I fancy one on the off chance it works.
I have just been sent the link to this thread by Mike.
It was a brilliant day out, so thanks for organising it Matt and thanks for everyone who came along it was a real laugh and some stunning roads. I particularly enjoyed having a little play with the R26.R although that thing is pretty much...
Yeah I know I even rang them and apparently they just cannot get hold of them :(
Thanks for that :)
Also yeah I realise they are both very different exhausts, they were just the two that took my fancy. Although in the end I think I am going to order a Piper exhaust. I hear they are very...
I recently posted a thread about the loss of 5k kick and a blowing exhaust. Well last night my exhaust fell appart behind the cat and turned into the loudest car on the road.
Obviously I need a new cat back exhaust system. Since I can't afford a BTB or Obisoud I am thinking I would like a...
Yeah it has, eventually. Shell have been doing a lot of work on their stations recently I think, a lot of them have been closed for a week or three, which means I have to find the next nearest one, sometimes I end up driving miles, but I don't mind:race:
The only modification I have done is...
Ha yeah I would much rather find the cause and have a fiddle with it than spend all that money on an exhaust, which is what I will have to do if not. Thanks a lot for your input its been really helpful. I will have a little look at my car this weekend and see if I can't fix it.
That...
Haha yeah I had a 1.8 Focus before and even then, the first time the 5k kick hit when I was mid bend I nearly screamed lol
Thanks for that, that sounds like a brilliant explanation because it did have a slight heat shield rattle on closing the boot from day one but it has developed a fair few...
It feels weaker generally throughout the rev range but the kick isn't as noticable either which is strange because as you say there is nothing mechanically that makes the 5k kick. I missed it completely today coming off a roundabout in 2nd, I was still waiting for it until I realised I was at...
Yeah I have been talking about how used to the performance of it I am now with my mates recently but I don't think it's just that. My dad has a Trophy which felt a little weak compared to mine. I let him drive mine tonight and he agrees it doesn't feel as strong as it did before. With the extra...
I have noticed recently that the 5k kick on my 182 has become much less pronounced than it has been the last 8 months I have owned the car. I have done 11,000 miles in the last 8 months but It had a full service history when i got it, had the cam belt done about 15,000 miles ago and I changed...
Your welcome, it was good to see a well driven Clio Sport amongst all those Fords. It looked really good coming through the high speed right left before breaking very hard for the right hander past the front of the paddock. The MG sounded good and was certainly flying round but I did notice he...
