Shame they didnt keep the mirrors as the phase 1, and just develop a smaller electric motor :o(
So what was the outcome? Havent had a chance to buy PGTI yet!
They are. Willy 1 wing mirrors are the same as the 1.8 16v. Willy 2 & 3 mirrors are larger as they house the electric motors. Willy 1s had manual mirrors. Go check...
Not sure that JBL subs are much cop to be honest. Though the price does make it tempting! Any chance of you actually getting to hear it in action before you buy one?
I had a remus exhaust which had a gold coloured tailpipe already on my car when I bought it. I thought it sounded and looked nice. Did tend to drive you mad driving on the motorwat though (continuous drone). Just turned the stereo up!
Think you mean a suppressor? If the fuzzing goes up when you rev the car, then you are getting interference from the engine.
If the fuzzing is constant (i.e. doesnt go up when you rev), then could be due to RCA cables being run through the car next to a power cable or could be a dodgy earth...
When my clutch cable snapped on my williams, i got Renault to fit a new cable. I had trouble getting mine into gear as soon as I left the car park. Turns out the clutch needed replacing (which is why my previous cable snapped). I got a clutch from Mr Clutch, and it lasted me a couple of years...
Yellow top is deep cycle and gives greater cranking ability at high current loads. Red top is a starting battery (not deep cycle). Both use Spiralcell technology, so if they do go flat, they can be recharged much more quickly and effectively. Ive got a yellow top as I dont drive my car that...
I know what you mean. I quite fancied a screen in my car, and went for the safe option as I didnt think it would be able to open up fully. Bambam is pretty clued up and may know whether you can adjust the viewing angle on these prior to locking it into the fitting cage. Would be interested to...
Different wing mirrors on the 2 + 3. They are bigger, whereas the originals were the same as the 16v. The 2.0 badges were next to the indicator on the front wing, whereas the later 2 + 3 house them on the door bump strips. The originals do not have the carbon strip on the boot, but grey...
Just wondering how much people spend keeping their car on the road over a year? I cant think off the top of my head how much I spend yearly, but Ive had my car 5 years, and have spent about eight grand (and counting)... I bought the car on 30k miles, and it is now on 65k miles. How about you...
You sure it is the rack and not the base of the steering column? I was told I needed a new rack, and I actually needed a new column. Have you had it thoroughly inspected by a good Renault mechanic?
