Had exact same issue, tried proper screw/bolt removes etc but they didn't do it, what worked for me was to get a good big flat head screw driver and hammer it into the bolt head to make a solid deep groove then I was able to easily unscrew it with the flat head
Most just cut the old connected off and rewire with spades etc
you can't buy the connector separatly as it's part ofthe loom if you don't want to cut then the only option you have is to find a cup at a breakers and take the connector off
really.. interesting mines been fine for 4 odd months, and is in perfect condition, although i did secure it more than it says to do so as its quite heavy, as well as double skining the wheel arch liner to stop water getting on to it... luvin it, scares the living sh*te outta the olds
just seen this, i fitted one (its awsome by the way!) it comes with is own relay, you just have to wire it in (to battery with inline fuse and to ground, job done) and its seriusly loud, sounds like a frieght train lol
so i managed to change over the speedo sensor, but today has been the first day ive been out in the car because of the snow, theres something really wrong, as now the speedo is being eratic, up and down wobbling over the rough speed then when i accelerate its act like rpm, following the rpm...
so i managed to change this over as i said, but today has been the first day ive been out in the car because of the snow, theres something really wrong, as now the speedo is being eratic, up and down wobbling over the rough speed then when i accelerate its act like rpm, if even went right round...
Is up to you fella, some use it neat in a spray bottle others mix it with water to dilute, it's a simple spray on after your wash before you dry down with a waffle drying towel
funny mines been in half where the CAF meets the fuse box, since i got it, it just sits there always thought it was ment to be this way as theres not obvious way to join the 2 parts as the CAF is flexible whereas the bit that goes down past the fusebox etc seems to be harder material... has mine...
Screws straight on, I taped mine up then bent it to shape before self tapering it on then all you have to do is cut a few inches off each end with a Stanley knife, looks quality too
now ya tell me, mine was a b'tard to get out, was stuck solid lol!, came out after 10mins of serious yanking, new one sloted in like a knife through butter though, so much so im worried its not in proper, soon find out though eh, cheers again bud... mine also has a small metal heat/splash shield...

Yea no other lights showing, thought as much on clip it has to go it seems, I know about the no service light but serviced it anyhow which made no difference! I have a hand held u380 which shows no faults, but I also have ddt2000 software and cable, do you know if that would be enough to get the...
So I've got just the SERV light displaying on the dash, I've checked all fluids, checked wires under seat, checked for ecu faults and everything checks out ok, any ideas what this could be before I resign myslef in having to take it into Renault? Car runs fine btw just annoying having the light...
Had the exact same issue, mine still has pretty old standard top up battery, as apposed to a sealed one, I checked the cells and a few of the chambers where pretty empty, filled them up jumped the car with the missus motor then took a 30 min drive has been ok since
its all in the instruction book mate, its out in the car right now so cant be that accurate, but you have to hold down one of the function buttons (tuner/source/menu, cant remember which) then an advanced menu will appear, and a beep will sound, where you can set the tuner to manual as opposed...
i managed to remove mine, after failing with the screw remover, tried the superglue/allen key trick, which by the way does not work lol (think its just small scrrews it works on), so used some wd40 left it to work its way in then i hammered a tough flat head screwdriver into the bolt, pretty...
