Sounds like Flywheel sensor or fuel pump relay loads of these motors in breakers yards both items will be easily found. Hope this helps.

You will never be sure about the bottem end after the valves have bounced off the pistons, I've known people spend hundreds on fixing the head & a couple of weeks later the bottom end fails. Not worth the risk buy a complete engine out of a write off.

Broken front springs are very common on reno's jack it up get your torch in & have a look see if there is a bit snapped off, also when it's up check for play on ball joint & wheel bearing.

I've had this you want to hope its not injectors goosed as they are £250 each & they'll want to replace all 4. Good luck with Reno you'll need it.
