Just like to add my experience. My bro was the one who found about it for me and after he said how great it was great I tried it too. It really does work wonders! Water just runs off the car, and come next time when the car needs washing it takes even less effort! V.good for the winter months! :)

Re-profile cams from Piper for £150! Have a 4-2-1 manifold made up for around £300 also. Should go well with the gas flowed and ported head, etc.

I used to have a peco backbox before moving on to a different full sytem, but when I had the backbox there was nothing wrong with the fitment at all. Sound was ok to. :)

If you really like the induction noise then just slap one or even two direct cold air feeds direct to the filter. At least in the cold weather you'll still be fine, and shouldn't suffer in the summer too much from heat-soak this way. :)

Only pics I have, taken as soon as fitted... its darkened up a bit now inside. It's on an Mk1 though. :) That's the 4" round mate.

Best bet at that price is an Ashley Exhaust. Made from mild steel so will last a few years, but not as long as stainless, they are quite loud mind, see if they do one for your car. Can be picked up for around a £160 for a cat-back system. :) Cheers.

^ I think is like 10 minutes or so? May be wrong... but once reset make sure you let the car idle for 10 minutes with nothing turned on, and then 10 minutes with your lights, radio, blower on so it's under load. Then a quick spin. That should be it! :)

Try getting your radiator flushed, or could even be the head gasket leaking. When mine was on it way I had to keep the blower on to keep the engine temp constant as it was just creeping up and up and up.

My bro has a scorpion system on his focus if that helps.... I know it aint a Clio, but the sound is defo not boomy. ;) It's deep as they don't use internal baffles afaik on their systems and he gets som pops with his sports cat, so I guess if you de-cat one of these sytems it'll be quite nice...

Hi mate, No no, Lucas\Girling are the better ones. I'm sure Lucas is Girling or if not, they are nearly similar. Bendix are the sh*t ones. ;) The calipers on 1.8 16v although bigger are Lucas as well. So that says it all. :)

^ Certainly can. For example, my Mk1 1.4RT the brakes are spongy as everyone knows and not the best, but they are Lucas Calipers which are better than Bendix. Anywho, you can grab yourself Mk1 16v calipers for the front (with carriers and bolts) for like £30 - £40 second hand quite easily...

The Gen 2 is a good kit. My bro has it on his 1.8 focus and has noticed good gains. Much better than the 57i. ;)

Another vote for the starter motor being (or on its way) out. Could possibly be a corroded terminal or bad earth though. But I think it'd be wise just to get a new starter on.

If you're on a budget how about this, Ashely (M\Steel) Backbox Clio Mk2 (98>) - Twin 3'' Round Tailpipe - £99! Or for there system (same Twin 3" Round) only £130! They are cheap because they are not stainless but you'll still get a good few years out of the system. Good if you are on a...
