I bought some of that years ago, opened the lid and got a whiff of it, not a chance that was going anywhere near my wheels lol.
As mentioned above, Bilberry Wheel cleaner. I bought some from I4detailing and it's the best stuff I've ever used and non-acidic too.
Also what is the AMP rating for the fuse for the horn? The one that was in there originally was a 15, I'm presuming that's the right one as I've been trying 15s and they've just blown straight away.
They ride high anyway don't they? also I'm sure Northwest Performance were advertising new clutch fitting for around £270. Don't quote me on that though because I maybe wrong.
As the title says, the fuse for the horn keeps blowing as soon as I press the horn.
A few months ago it happened, I replaced the fuse and had no problems up until today. Any ideas what might be causing this?
Cheers.
That's the 1st time I've seen 182 wheels on a PH-1 and I think it looks good. Looks like a nice tidy motor but the price might be a tad optimistic, I bet I wouldn't even get that for my Cup lol.
Good luck with the sale though.
It's down the back of the block near the manifold, it's abit of a pain even trying to tap it. I used a long thin bolster chisel to tap it when mine was playing up.
Main reason I went for a Cup was the colour and the fact it's got less things on it to go wrong, plus I'd owned one before and knew what to expect from it. As Danny says though the cloth seats are abit dull. Renault could have at least stitched "Renault Sport" in to them.
To be honest mine hasn't felt much different to any other car I've driven in the current conditions, other than maybe it's easier to spin the front wheels. Back end feels really nervous but like I say it was just the same in every other car.
Re: Moving shot
Meh! better than I could probably do as I'm awful with a camera lol. A few people have tried to get shots of my car while it's moving but they all turn out like that. Seems my car isn't photogenic enough for moving shots.
Think I'd be more inclined to trust k-tec's mounts to be honest. At least their products have been tried and tested. With this torque damper you've no idea what might happen after prolonged use.
Yeah it is when the decat is fitted, I had a headache from it that night and I only live around the corner from the meeting place lol. Saying that though I did manage to drive it 290 miles straight like that. :o
Yeahh I know which one you mean. lol
It was already removed, I bought the system 2nd hand, it's basically a supersport version really. I think the backbox is empty too though hence the extreme rasp from it lol.
Yeah I was looking at getting another silencer welded in to the system so I can run my decat permanently, seems a waste...
It is lol. With the decat fitted it got measured with 172Ben's decibel reader at 114.4DBs.
No, it's a k-tec stealth with the centre silencer removed but it's a hell of alot louder than the normal k-tec stealth supersport version for some reason.
I know mine's not a 182 but with the decat fitted to mine there was no major power differences. The only difference I noticed was it pulled a little better below 5krpm.
My exhaust with the cat in place sounds like a decatted system so with the decat fitted it was insane. I only have the decat...
Yes! It pisses me right off sometimes when I'm not in the mood for it, even more so on the motorways. Although when I'm in the mood I love the noise it makes.
Didn't notice the M badges on the ST lol. I thought it was someone's car at the meet.
Did you take any of mine Chris? I thought mine looked clean but when you parked up it put mine to shame lol.
