Keep an eye on the parts for sale section, quite often clios are being broken up and the parts sold, so you should be able to get hold of arch liners from there.
Thanks mate! Yours looks well too.
Been sanding it down with wet&dry paper then polishing it up with a kit I got from the Polishing Shop. My mondial blue engine cover should be arriving sometime this week as well, which should tidy the engine bay up.
What have you used for yours?
Just thought I'd post a few pictures of my progress with polishing up my fuel rail guard. It's certainly one of those jobs I wished I hadn't started and paid someone else to do it for me, it's taking ages as I'm only doing a couple of hours on it now and then.
Just a question though, while...
Think the white wheels look better than any other colour to be honest. I bottled it having white wheels though as I didn't fancy having to clean my wheels daily.
The one and only reason why I wouldn't go for the uprated K-tec mounts, the car has some obscure and strange noises as it is and to have extra vibrations during idle would drive me mad. Lol
It's just got to be coincidental surely. I had a car a while that would cut out and stall every single time at this one junction and I mean everytime no matter what I did yet it never stalled anywhere else. Just one of those weird things I suppose.
There's been a few things I've found on the car that have had a bodge job on them after removing parts off this car. The lambada sensor after the cat had been welded in because who ever fitted it previously had cross threaded it and knackered the thread on it. Obviously I've been replacing the...
Think that dog rough one I went to look at in Oldham was a HT53. Not 100% on that though.
Edit http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=389466 Yeah it is and it's still for sale haha!
LOL! Can't tell you how many times people flashed their headlights at me, even had people pulling along side me shouting "YOUR INDICATOR IS ON" as if I wouldn't notice the Click..click..click . In the end I just resorted to pulling the fuse out but that just ended up having people...
My right indicator would never cancel until I indicated left but even then once the stalk flicked back in to the middle it'd start indicating right again. Not certain on this but I think it had something to do with my recent no-starting problem.
It costs quite alot unfortunately as it needs to...
UCH controls electrics like your headlights and indicators and various other things and yeah that black box near your airbox is the ECU.
Can't give a more descriptive response because I'm not really that clued up on it. My car's just had a new UCH fitted.
Alot will say stick to the original colour (silver) but I've gone for dark grey (anthricite) << how ever you spell it. But they match my yellow calipers.
Didn't realise that lol. Does it just screw off? I think I've knackered the mount even more when I was putting it back on to be honest as the rubber started twisting as I tightened up the nut.
Also when I removed the under tray I noticed it was really wet under it and there was alot of black gunk everywhere. I know with under tray being attached it'll end up trapping some damp in there but is it normal?
Decided to remove mine off my car to see if was split/worn. There seems to be a split in the rubber, I took some photos of it. Is this knackered and could be the reason I get the knocking noise on hard acceleration?
Wouldn't that cause problems selecting 3rd gear and reverse though i.e crunching? Or isn't that always a symptom of a worn/damaged dogbone mount? Also the gear stick doesn't shake around when I'm driving spiritedly.
