If you press the button that resets your trip computer it clears the faults found i.e ---h. Could just have been there from a fault detected months ago. I've heard it's not the best diagnostic for faults so I wouldn't worry to much about it.
^^ as above, they're things to check.
Also what size tyres are you running? Previous owner had put 215/40/16's on mine and the car felt awful on any road that wasn't perfectly flat.
Have they given any indication on how much they'll charge you for cleaning it? It's abit fiddly removing it but it's not overly difficult just got to watch not to drop the nuts holding it in place down in to the engine bay lol
Not looking to buy it just get an idea of what's cheap and what's expensive. My car's still in Renault and I can't buy anything until I've got rid of mine.

Not very knowledgeable on Gti's yet but it does look like a decent example, Guy's asking 2k for it, good price or not?
Turns out the starting problem was down to a wiring fault, not sure of details yet but with the replacement of my faulty UCH I've got quite a heavy bill to pay when the car's ready for me to pick up.
The joys of motoring

Just came across this Saxo Vts on PistonHeads, why do people insist on typing things that give the impression it's been hammered every single day of it's life "this car is rapid eats 172 182 clios for fun it has 150 bhp".
Maybe it's just me but...
I know the feeling mate, I'm just waiting for the dreaded phone call about mine and what's wrong with it and also how much it'll be to be put right. Cars are a right pain in the arse sometimes.
