apart from the lower gearbox mount is the engine bolted to the subframe in anyother place?
im lifting it out the top,
top gearbox mount it off
top mount is off
bog bone is off
lower gearbox mount is off
any where else its bolted in?
(i have ofcourse got all the plumming, driveshafts...
im stuck on getting the lower half off, but i think i may have found the problem child, all the front facing bolts are off and the bolt going through the top mount.
but it wont budge?
i think it could be a bolt going into the drivers side of the engine (this 16mm bolt seem to go into the...
need a "good" exhaust for the 172, willing to spend alot if its s**t hot. all the ones one the market just seem to be "ok" made and £350ish
do BTB make one?
would jsut want the 3" single exit or a stelth

what has the best VFM and easyly mapped?
cool i have my oil cooler, hose (aeroquip), thermosatic sanwhich plate,
but i need the fittings for the hose to the 1/2 bsp connections
do i need motorsport ones? or can i just use high presure hose connections from B&Q/plummer merchants etc
poo in standard form.
found an rr printout for mine.. 161hp! and 144lb/ft
nice LOL.. tbf it has not even been started for 6 months... and only being on 50k shes a litle tight.
lets hope the new mods... "spruce it up a bit"
would you have the KW coils or the bilstine b14 kit?
ami rite in thinking that on the b14 kit the rear coil is over the damper not like the usual seperate coil and spring?
give a more of a roar? when acelerating? match with inlets, cams, cup racer filter set up, 182 manifol etc ...
or would it just sound like a normal clio with a filter on?:S

need to drop the engine out, going to drop it on the frame and lift the car over it..
my understandings is;
top, gearbox and dog bone mount off.
exhaust off
plumbing off
un clip all wiring
subframe support arms off
four subframe bolts off
rad stays in?
driveshafts out
then...
are the after market cams (billet, shrick) etc runs on a standard time?.. if not do you need new pullys? or do the standard adjust enough to re time? like the gti's/vts
