Is the sport rear bumper the same as a normal one apart from the top part not being painted?

I've been looking into getting some bonnet lifters but the only ones I've seen for sale on here fit onto the slam panel. Is there any reason why they can't be fitted to the wings? Surely they would be strong enough cause the stand that comes on the car goes onto the wing.

I have just bought a samco induction elbow for my PH1, it fits onto the plenum and the filter fine, but I can't fit it onto the breather. It is the right shape but the hose is too small to fit onto the breather. Someone mentioned that you had to do a modification to fit it onto a PH1, does...

How do you remove this from a mk2 ph2? It's just the part that surrounds the radio/time/temp display. Do I have to take the top half of the dash off or can it be removed alone.

What would people recommend to use on the black plastics on the exterior. I'm not after anything fancy, just to look OK. I have some products at the minute but they tend to run off the trim and onto the bodywork if the cars are left in the rain.

I'm trying to find somewhere that sells ball joints for a ph1 172. I tried my local motor factors but they don't do them. Does anyone know anywhere that sells these as renault don't sell the ball joints seperate. I'm not a tight arse who won't buy a full bottom arm, I have a plan.

Went to a breakers today and seen a mk2 ph1 clio with a full dark blue leather trim. The car was not a 172, had some standard alloy wheels, possibly a 1.4 16v. Did they make these from factory or has someone has it done?

I always thought Exclusive wheels were all silver but if you look at the picture of one in the choice of avatars then the centre of the centre cap is black. Anyone got any ideas?

I'm fitting an amp into my clio but I'm not sure where to feed the power cable through from the engine bay into the car. Is there a hole which is any good for this or any suggestions where to make one? Cheers Dave

I'm painting my wheels and thanks to someone on here I now have a lend of some steel wheels to stand the car on. Will these clear the brakes OK? The car won't be moving, just to put it on rather than axle stands.
