human eye is actually capable of seing over 200fps etc and so over what 100hz is its just its not massively noticable. And all to do witht he way in which we percieve it and the kind of light bluring etc.

And things which say 16ms. its the time in milliseconds that it takes a pixel to go from completely black to white. and vice versa. How fast it responds to colour changes the lower the number the less likely you are to notice the picture ghosting. seeing shadows etc as things move.

To be honest you wont need the dual sli 7800gtx's The performance increase you would get isnt that much in some games it actually drops because there isnt a cpu out currently that can feed both the cards enough info fast enough. Even 1 of these cards is still CPU limited when you have an FX57...

Not a fan of FPS games on consoles. But it is a good game well on the PC. :-P Just too much messing about aiming moving etc with a joypad when its so simple with a keyboard and mouse. It a cracking game when you get some good team work going though. Is it still 64 players on the xbox?

If you have adsl buy an adsl wireless router. if you have cable buy a cable wireless router. then buy 2 wireless network cards.

Nope got sod all to do witht he HL2 engine. They dont even look at all alike.

Not based on the HL2 engine at all. Based on the lithhtech or litchtech engine cant quite remember the exact name now. The source engine looks totally different. hence why fear can bring my system to its knees at high detail levels but HL2 at 1600x1200 6x aa and 16x af runs perfectly. 75fps...

you just need to create yourself a profile then if anything happens you can restore it. usually only happens when the program has had a bad crash or something though

Winamp can do all those functions radio podcast etc can also watch streaming tv with it as well. But i dont have an ipod i bought a zen instead. And if you want a better player for movie files etc check out BSPlayer.
