I'm thinking of buying a 172 Rear bumper. The only problem is the one in question has a few scratches on it:

They look to have gone down to the primer (all the white marks...
Following my thread the other week, I finally managed to get nearly everything I've been working on over the past month together, and gave it a quick clean. Im really pleased how its turned out.
Still got a few little bits to do, but Mods to date are:
-Coilovers
-Fat Megane Splitter...
I've got a Cliosport URL sticker, and would like to put it on the rear drivers side window, had a search but can't find where people put it. Just wondering how far into the corner of the window to put it if anyone's done their's in a similar place?
I've recently resprayed my alloys, and it took me quite a while with all the priming and sanding, so Im just wondering what would be the best thing to a: clean them, and b: protect them?
Im just wondering because obviously with them only being rattle can laquer and paint, Im not sure I should...
Finally I think my car might be worthy of a post in the media section!
Over the past two weeks I've pretty much been working solidly on improving my car,
I've replaced the clutch (thanks to James.f) which was a massive achievement for me and got me back into my car.
I then fitted my Vmaxx...
I'm thinking of doing a rattle can job on my alloys.
My car is black, and I'd like to do them an anthracite, but darker than the standard 182 alloys, more of a Gun metal grey kind of thing.
Does anyone have any recommendations of a colour that I can pick up in Halfords?
So like the...
I'm looking to get some hubcentric spacers, as after fitting my coilovers, my 182 alloys need pushing out as they rub on the adjuster ring of the coilovers.
I was just wondering where the best place to order some reasonably priced good quality spacers?
Ideally I'd like to get them pretty...
I thought I'd make a new thread with a more suitable title as no doubt I'll have more questions when it comes to fitting the fronts!
I'm trying to fit my Vmaxx Coilovers, (to a non sport) and have started with the rears. Now I am unsure on the rear shocks which rubber bits/washers go where...
Just wondering is it a good idea to put some kind of grease on your coilovers to prevent them from seizing up from dirt and such like when they're on the the car?
Is there a specific type of grease which would be best?
Basically Im following a guide by james.f to change my clutch.
This is the first time I've done anything like this so please be nice lol.
Basically, Im on the part where I need to remove the Wishbone from the hub, and could someone please clarify that it is this bolt (circled in red)...
As above, I need to replace my clutch on my Mk2 PH2 1.2 16v.
I was just wondering where the cheapest place to order a OEM (Valeo?) Clutch kit for my Clio, or if there was anyone on here who would be able to source one cheaply for me?
Thanks
Basically I've recently aquired some V-maxx coilovers for my Non-Sport and am a bit sure what to do
I currently have the standard 15" Alloys on the car.
I have some 182 alloys but they need 2 new tyres and I'm thinking of refurbing/painting. I'm also considering maybe swapping for the 16" 172...
I have a photo taken from my 18th Birthday recently, and as it was taken on my phone it came out really dark and obviously isn't very good quality.
Its the only one I've got and I was just wondering is there anything I can do to maybe brighten it up or restore the colours a bit better? If...
Im probably completely wrong, but can you repair light scratches on alloys like you can on car bodywork
Like on the bodywork if you wet sand the scratch then polish it back up?
Can you do this on alloys if the marks aren't to deep? or are they painted differently?
Im 18 and nearly been driving a year and so its renewal time and I want to get my own policy and just thought I'd see if anyone has any recommendations specifically for young/new drivers?
Thanks
Somehow water has got into the connector for the driver side rear light cluster, and as a result the pins on have all rusted up, meaning the lights flash randomly and don't work properly. They had actually rusted together and had to be forced apart.
I was just wondering if Renault do the spare...
I have a black Mk2Ph2 Clio and have colour coded my side strips black to match the rest of the car, I am just unsure of what colour to do my Bullets.
I have 182 Anthracite Alloys, so thought I could maybe match them.
Either Anthracite Back with Black lettering or
Black back with Anthracite...
I have a Mk2 Ph2 1.2 Clio, however I have the RS 182 Alloys so need two new tyres in 205/45/16.
As this is my first car I am not really sure about tyres so a little help would be appreciated!
I bought the alloys second hand, and two have budgets on which are fine on tread, however the...
I am colour coding my bump strips using the guide in the guides section, however I am unsure do I need to sand the basecoat before applying the laquer like I did with the primer before the basecoat?
Thanks
Went to see Michael McIntyre Friday Evening.
We got stuck in traffic so missed half of it which was a bad start, then upon returning to the car was confronted with this to top it off:
Headunit stolen, subwoofer stolen from boot, 2 ipods and money stolen
And a Freezing drive home on...
