Dual cone is a cheaper way of doing co-ax. Given you have separate tweeters anyway, both of these are a step back.
Just get some standard Renault ones back in there.
To change out the wiring to install new components isn't as simple as changing the tweeter and woofer alone, in many cases...
Sounds like a plan.
Get these
Get this
and that's your Audio sorted, all for less than a good set of front components....which would need an amp....and a load of sound deadening in the door.
If you've having to buy replacements, you'd do well to just find some normal OEM speakers then. You certainly don't need co-axial speakers in the front door, especially if the tweets are still in place.
OEM speakers and an small underseat sub will bring far better results than trying to get...
Given those All-in-ones don't actually have thunderbolt, wouldn't give it any thought. You do have displayport, but given this is a to-a-budget build, Stick to HDMI as your main method.
You're going to have to get over the fact that there will be cables.
@Jeff simply Thinkpads have always been the winner for actual professional workhorse-ing
I have no idea why the Surface Book even came to be. A fat Surface? Nah, just a normal Pro with a keyboard cover thanks. :)
It would mean faster boot and programme loading times. General productivity improvement.
That all your storage is on a server just makes an ever stronger case for a 128 SSD over a 500gb Spinning-platters drive.
It would maybe be worth hunting out something that has an SSD drive.
It'll likely come in at another £60 per unit, and not for as much storage, but it will make them far more useable.
Example
OK.
So, have your fronts blown? If not, no need to change them. The stock speakers just can't hack bass, so if you get a small sub in place, the filter-options on your stereo will let you cut low-end to speakers, letting them focus on what they do best.
As rears, maybe. As fronts, they'd be a downgrade, unless you're also going to drop money into an amplifier, sound deadening and component front speakers, you'll get nearly zero tangible difference.
A better use of money would be a small, underseat subwoofer. Nothing chavvy, just enough to fill...
You'll find that happens on most non-run-flat tyres. That powder will be where your wheel was chopping into the tyre. You'd have the same with a Goodyear, Nankang, General etc.
Still, doesn't make it any less annoying when it happens :(
Perfect, that's the kind of thing. Thanks fella Wondered why I couldn't find anything.
It's all a bit secret squirrel until I actually get underway with the project though ;)
Winter wheels - Get caked in crud the second you hit the road, so whatever you spray them they're brown within a week.
Track wheels - If you can see the colour of the wheel through the brake dust, you're doing it wrong.
If my money, I'd leave them as is and buy more tyres
a-ha!
Spacer thread, time to hijack.
I'm looking for apadtive spacers to go from 4x100 (44mm) to 5x139 (108mm)
Is this actually doable? I've yet to find anyone making this size of adapter and the H&R website suggests that if they don't do it, it's just unsafe.
Alright CS.
So, if someone needed to go from 4x100 (44.1) to 5x139.7 (108), is that do-able?
H&R don't stock anything in that style, so I suspect there's safety aspects involved.
