smaller number = thicker wire.
I used a load of THIS to lay out my surround speakers, but equally a roll of THIS will do just fine, given what you've read from the manufacturer
Used veg oil needs filtering to get the dead chips out.
The cooking process will break down the oil to some degree, but it'll still freeze up in winter.
Next time you do an oil filter change, just pour the contents of the filter into your used veg oil before you filter it.
Also, add MotorKote...
Have these challenges firmly died on their ass now?
Just picked up for PS2....... Currently learning the finer points of Texas Motor Speedway in the KVSH #11 :hearteyes::hearteyes::hearteyes::hearteyes::hearteyes::hearteyes:
I'd be VERY surprised if they managed to turn over a 24hr repair.
Indeed, that they've now fixed it means that they knew it was there, and bad enough to warrant fixing. As such, maybe OP has a better case.
Maybe
Picked this up for PS4 at the weekend from a pre-owned bin at GAME for £20.
Looks like I've got a week of downloading updates before i get to turn a wheel though
Well, it will, just not when you've got the weight of the car loaded against it. You might see an improvement in 1st and second, but it'll be marginal.
To an unrealistic extreme, think how bikes can rev up and down in a millisecond... that's a light flywheel.
The point I'm making is that if people reported these things via the correct channels then there's a better chance of having them picked up and fixed.
Posting memes on Facebook isn't going to cut it.
I've driven MX-5's back-to-back, with stock and lightened flywheels.
It'll sound faster if you're sat revving at a standstill but you wont pick up revs on the move any quicker, really, not once you're past 2nd anyway. It's not a turbo.
But gear changes can now be done like you're trying out...
It's the Highways Agency that fixes potholes, not local councils. Councils pick up the claims and can advise HA about issues though.
You may not be surprised to hear that neither HA nor councils have potholes reported to them anywhere near as frequently as people will moan about them on...
As per sensible posts above, don't.
If you have an upgraded headunit, spend money on a small, under-seat sub instead. The stock front components are quite decent when you set your stereo to not send bass to them.
Are these the ones that throw rod bearings the second they go out of warranty?
Mates old man had one, entirely silly machine. Lovely engine. Begs for a set of switchable straight pipes. Heroic.
There's rumblings on how the 1.4 isn't as reliable as the 1.9 because of it's 3-cylinder nature shaking the thing apart.
But it could just be normal forum scaremongering
Thats them.
Meisters, Rotas and a welded diff = ultimate handling roadracetrackcar ever.
Most common reasons for MX5 being "broken for parts" -
1) Rust
2) Sik lowwz n weldid div
Love these. Proper colour and wheel combo too :up::up:
Given that level of disposable-spend, I'd be hunting down the last of the real HSV Holdens.
But that's why there's more than one manufacturer, with different designs, for different people. :)
If the oil is used, it thins it down a little, but yeah, as our man above says, it'll still shaft anything remotely "modern".
I wouldn't want to try a winter morning cold start with a tankful of Tesco Value Veg Oil, that's for sure.
Damn right it does. But that's more to do with boost and fuelling levels. It'd smoke just as hard on V-Power Diesel.
No obvious chip-shop smells, but then it's a mix of petrol, diesel and veg oil...probably some transmission fluid for good measure too.
