So after my MOT on Friday, i got an advisory for my front pads. Plan was to get them done in the next week or so but this has now been pushed forward to ASAP after i felt a grind under braking. This is what my driver's side disc looks like.
Needless to say, it's time for new discs and pads up...
Love the fact it has basically been built from scratch in that garage!
Such an epic machine, i think if it was in Tesco car park i'd have no idea it had such a monster under the bonnet.
Get an induction kit/cone filter. Gives you a deep accelerating noise without any exhaust fart and will be cheaper. Get good cold air flow to it and you won't lose any performance either.
Digging up an old thread here but does anyone know of any camber bolts that fit? I'm having issues with my car pulling to the left. After tracking we found the left wheel is dead vertical and the right is on the max of renaults' guideline -camber. Still only finding mk2 bolts.
@ksykes23...
These are a great tyre. very good in the wet and nice and soft/sticky. They may wear down quickly on rwd but they are only £50. Maybe get a 35 as the sidewalls can be flexy.
I started heating it with a hairdryer and picking it with my nail. Got most of the way but then it got painful so i've just left it and decided to build a new wheel.
On mine it happens if i search anything in google maps. usually trying to find out how far away a place is from mine. I just get a page of code which keeps reloading every time i turn it off. Safari and other tabs are not effected though once i shut the maps tab.
I've had APs on my mk3 for over 18 months. I adjusted the ride height about a month ago for summer and they are still in great condition. Zero oxidation and the threads are still perfect. The collars spun with ease. They go nice and low and improve the handling no end! I only paid £415 for mine...
it's annoying when someone can't hold a constant speed so you move over a lane to overtake marginally faster and the f***er speed matches you. Especially in average 50 zones.
Not a car. I have just bought a bmx with a really nice front wheel. For some reason the previous owner has decided to attack it with a rattle can and it's not the best paint job i have seen. I have started heating the paint and scratching it off the hub but my nails are getting painful. Credit...
Really not a fan of the bonnet bra, but with those wheels and spacers it will look very nice!
Just a heads up, 40mm springs don't really have enough drop for these, if budget allows coil overs are definitely the way to go. Will improve the handling no end also.
I think if you took the sticker...
