Well, I am now the proud owner of R27 Number 0465! I will be picking it up on the 22nd of the month, when I get back from Vegas.

Hey, so. The garage states that this car has a locking differential. Did they ever come with one? I didnt think any of the clio range got one...

I hit an indicated 215 in the foxhole. Don't get near that on the main straight as it struggles up the hill. Picks up towards the first turn though as it starts going down hill, brave pills needed there with the bumps in the braking zone, s***s me up every time.
Same, I have been back twice now. I'm a sad b*****d and have been watching all my videos, looking at where I am going wrong, its become an obsession. I can't wait to go back and try new lines in new places.
Well, a little update. Been honing in on the right model. I found a reasonably priced R27..

Not too keen on the black. But as a...
There's a video of me doing a trackday at zanvoort in my ph1. It's like a karma of embarrassment. I come up to a modified 330D on the straight. I get smoked. We hit the braking zone and suddenly the Clio makes a lot of sense.
I have owned and driven a lot of fwd hit hatches.
There are three that will always stand out for me.
Clio RS
306 gti/rallye
205 gti
It's not about how fast they go, it's about how they communicate with the driver. The steering wriggles and jiggles and let's you read the road as if it was...
I have gone fully Dutch, I cycle most places (although on a specialized rock hopper as apposed to a bloody granny bike). The Clio is mostly a toy and mobility for those slightly longer distance trips.
I have looked at so many cars, I'm 34 and still hooked on hot hatches. The Clio is my perfect...
Hmmm,
Amsterdam is great, so many international flavours. ;)
@MrTom The more I look at the 200, the more it grows on me, depends a lot on the colour. There is a Gordini for sale at the moment... it just looks odd
I love how subtle the 197 is, with the little details.
I am looking for a cup. But to be honest, if I get a 197 its not as important. A 197 falls well under my budget of 12k. (197 here is about 8-9k with low miles and service). If I get the 197 it will be treated to a nice suspension set-up and a few other little bolt on mods. The 200 Will take up...
Hi all,
after much deliberation (seriously a lot) I have decided the next car will be another RS, however it will be a much newer, lower mileage version.
Netherlands prices of cars is off the charts, but I have to buy here as buying abroad incurs massive tax and import charges.
I cant...
That's not a bad plan. It's finding someone who will pallet and ship a box though.
If I can't find a local supplier, I'll definitely look into this. Thanks!
Hi all,
I am looking for some help. My gearbox/diff bearings have gone and so I expect it to fail any time soon. I have stopped using the car and now it sits rusting away in the carpark.
Does anyone know someone who can supply and fit a second hand gearbox in the Amsterdam/Noord Holland area...
