    97" Screen on a budget

Where do you store your Christmas decorations etc? I must admit from looking at the first picture I was expecting to scroll down and see a sex swing and other dungeon devices set up.

    Thoughts on the Samsung UE40F6500

That's interesting. I'm probably not as anal about televisions as I should be. I have had a Samsung LCD for about 5 years now and decided to stick with the brand. I personally like the aesthetics of them, stand and surround wise compared to others such as LG. It's not for home cinema use. To...

    Thoughts on the Samsung UE40F6500

I'm buying something similar at the weekend (I think it's the 6400 series though) but in man size. £649 for 46" or another £100 to go to 50". I'm in two minds. I have no idea on the difference from 6400 to 6500 - impress me?

    Halfords own oil

If you potter around in your car, then I can't see how it's going to be a problem. Has anyone bought any on trade? I know promotions usually don't get knocked down anymore, but it sometimes does so I'm interested to hear if it does.

    Bitcoins (and other crypto currencies)

Until this morning I had no idea the word existed. It's only as I saw the title of this thread while passing that I thought I'd look in to it. Still don't really understand it - but that's not my concern. I feel out of touch with society and technology. FML.

You'll soon learn not to base values on eBay prices.

    205 gti bargain?

    I raise you. I bought a 1.6 GTi last year for £130.

    205 gti bargain?

Slam panels were either cream or black. Ph2's seem to suffer more with 'rot' but the majority of repairs required are easily sorted as access is good the majority of the time. The area I'd be most concerned about is above the tank where the brake lines run out of view. The good thing to...

    205 gti bargain?

I love my 205. Was a car I remember as a kid and always wanted growing up. One of few cars I love the look of from all angles.

South west calendar shoot (weekend of the 19th)

Cheddar. Lovely backdrop and if someone can be arsed to scale the cliffs you can get cracking pictures from several places near the top looking across. I'd take my cup along but it's a shitter so I'd have to park at the back where you can't see it.

172 vs BMW @ Combe today

To be fair Dave to shouldn't let it out you off. I much prefer the full open pit days (one in July actually - the 2nd) where you get people who ideally wan to spend a full day there. Ok - yes you still get people on full days going out straight away balls out, but they soon release it from...

Inner Steering Joints on Clio 172 Cup

Just noticed some listed online as 287mm and others as 296mm. Does 296mm ring a bell to anyone for cup ones?

Inner Steering Joints on Clio 172 Cup

My 172 Cup has just failed it's MOT on the inner joint and I popped by my Unipart motor factors to grab a new one. They listed one for TRW racks and another for SMI, KOYO AND J-TEKT. I thought I'd have a nosey online to see which a Cup would likely to use and then I notice that the Cup ones...

Rejecting a duff car - where do i stand?

Was a good trip. I'm not on the book of faces, no. I live in Taunton now. You still working in London during the week? Beer is overdue. It's my birthday Friday. How convenient.

Rejecting a duff car - where do i stand?

Oh ah! Small world How is it? I (Dan) used to have a GTi6 and attend the Weston PF Pizza Hut meets on a Sunday evening with Neal Creed in his Tango RST and Skyline. Most memorable moment was the Blackpool Birthday trip years ago in your LPG mondeo where the LPG nozzle failed and ammended your...

I'm not worried about discount. The convenience of speaking to someone who actually gives a hoot and postage to save me a 30 mile drive will suffice.
