Nasty! I can't fix mine until at least next weekend, and even then that's weather dependent.
Presume ur going Polish it out, then what's your plan? I think it'll remove the CQUK too, I may just use Hydro2 again.
Mine was directly after applying CQUK, not applied to it since and I've washed it 3 or possibly 4 times :).
I still have smears, as you say, requires immense buffing (I got most of the marks off of the wing after about 5-10mins of polishing by hand) - I'm going to machine polish it off when I...
It gets worse when the paint fully dries too. Immediately after washing and drying it looks ok, then it fully dries out and smears everywhere xD
At least for me, wonder what alternatives there are to reload that can be used with CQuartz?
Mine is the same, annoyed as f**k, I'm beginning to think its the Reload rather than the CQuartz which has smeared..!
I haven't applied Reload since my initial CQUK application, and the smearing is getting better, so can only assume its the Reload as I haven't been putting anything on after a...
Don't get this thread locked too!
We know your car has MPG issues, doesn't mean the rest of the Clios do ;)
I agree the trip is most likely out, but good enough for most people ^^
On another note - around 27mpg this morning, hate it when it's busy and you have to go 40mph in Nationals, and...
I go with what brings best performance for the dollar you're spending, which more often than not (99% of the time), is AMD.
People are very split on this, so I imagine you'll get some green fanboys in soon (to counter the argument about even considering AMD), but imo never had a problem here!
Eek sorry to hear about the finish, that is piss poor considering they'd already redone it - certainly hearing a lot more mixed reviews from them now-a-days, wasn't there someone else on here who had problems with them when he took them to Russ@MidlandCarCare (he passes them through to them).
Yep fantastic choice of case, looks brilliant and is a real nice case to work in! :)
I am also bias, having one myself.
As for spec above, you'd be happy with either tbh, there are SO many different Z97 motherboards I'd first decide on your colour scheme (as you'll see it through the window)...
I'd just stick with what people normally go for, there are reasons they're a popular size!
Unless of course you want to be constantly changing wheel bearings?
They can do same-day turnaround if you have a day spare (go shopping or something).
As above, not sure I'd risk getting them done at different times - sure they only do the same old colours, but you can still get variances :).
CLIP is the Renault Diagnostics tool - sometimes required if generic readers don't give proper codes, or to turn off certain codes that generic readers cannot do :]
Also, where are you located? Best bet is to take it to a specialist on here who has a CLiP!
Sounds like the ABS ring/sensor is fubar'd, someone else will chime in with more info soon enough.
Which spec Clio is it?
Once fixed, it may need clearing with a CLiP
Yeah, highly highly recommend it, leaves a wax-like finish when cleaned, and SO easy to remove brakedust, dont even need to scrub them when the protection is on.
Pain to apply though, took me about 4-6 hours to do it properly!
City Powdercoating @ Bham, £20 per wheel fully stripped, sandblasted, powdercoated and laquered - Loz H now has my Clio with them - but they have been absolutely solid for the near 3 years I had them done for :)
(It also helped I applied GTechniq C5 to them).
