Generally when you buy bigger alloys, the tyres walls are thinner to essentially compensate that, so usually the size of wheel+tyre is the same. Without examples of alloys you want it's hard to tell though!

Sounds like you're getting there so fair play for continuing with it, as for the wiring problem sadly I cannot help. You could probably pick up a cat from on here, same with ballast and ignitor, and probably the horn too :).

For a start what type of finance was it? PCP, Lease or something else? Lease iirc you have to pay the full balance regardless, PCP you sell the car or hand it back I think. @Sir_Dave is best equipped to help!

It it will be the caliper that's seized, causing the pad to stay too close to the disc when you brake, thus heat building up :). At least, thats what I think it is!

Decats and inductions kits sadly will make bugger all difference because its NA, only way to get a lot of power is a Turbo - throttle bodies will make it a LOT more drivable, but wont give you the power you want. Check out ClioTurbo on here, they do drive in and drive out kits - a lot of decent...
