Stupidly Hot front left brake

  Clio 182
Ok so heres the background :

For several months the front left brake has been noticeably hotter than the drivers side [to the point where the alloy can't be touched] - upon closer inspection the pads had been EVENLY worn to the limit.

Because of this , i have replaced both the disc and pads and lubricated everything.

However following all this the front left is still ridiculously hot [ majority of heat is from caliper itself]

I am under the impression that if the piston is seizing/sticking then the pads would be unevenly worn [correct me if wrong]

The car brakes straight and braking performance is fine.

Any ideas as to what may be causing the problem ?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks , I thought it might be the caliper but i was told it would show signs of uneven wear .. my next step is to replace the caliper i just wanted some other opinions before shelling out for more parts :)
