Well its not illegal so your fine i would take it back to the dealer and say the centre section is shagged, it is classed as wear and tear but he should contribute seeing as its only a week he probably didnt know , most dont know their arse from their elbow.

You need a coachworks / seat trimmers - try and find one with soneone old and experienced - budget £150-200 for one panel. Make sure colour match is spot on.

You need the whole bolster panel retrimmed.

100% centre box is Shagged. - assuming original exhaust. They are about £130 from Adam. but most people just buy an aftermarket one.
