Sorry mate I have a few but they are all for my alcon's so I think different fittings as mine are 3/8'ths UNF female. If they will help then you are welcome to get one :) Has is drained fully if so then I'm not sure how you bleed ABS pump
Split as in the rubber hose under the braided or just the braid has come away from the connection? Braid just goes over the rubber hose so the actual rubber will probably be fine but don't hold me to it lol
Ouch, Sorry to hear that Nick and also the troubles with the M3! That's the last time I go whizzing along the A3 then, Its about the only main road south of Milton keynes that doesn't have a camera on it when I come down to Guildford
I had two invites from Porsche Silverstone and didn't think of you being a Porsche boy so i've donated the other ticket to my Dad (my mates aren't car fans)! I normally get them every year so i'll keep you in mind for next time ;) Will do, I drove the 3.8 one last year when I was there but...
They are great, the ones I had on before were s**t and broke the first time I pushed the car
The only problem is they dont swivel but I couldn't be fussy as i'm only borrowing them from my welding chap :)
Sorry i'm not sure on the max load but I know my welding chap uses them on his car...
I was going to say my Renault workshop manual told me to do that so you can check they line back up after the 6 rotations! I will remove them before you see the car Fred so I dont get told off ;)
Haha yes I looked at the wood and castors and thought clearance wouldn't be an issue so didn't bother to measure it but it's much tighter than I remember! Very lucky
Not sure labour wise as I have a mate who does most of mine but I imagine around £50 for a swap. The only advice I can give is the screen will only last as long as the quality of job you/ the fitter does on sealing the edge. I repeated this to the company that did my first heated screen but they...
Yes Mark basically need to seal around the laminated edge of the glass so ask the windscreen fitter to do it with the PU adhesive they fit the screen with :)
The reason for a relay is to take the load from the switch so in a 25A circuit with no relay you would be putting all the load through...
Awesome the VLN will be good fun I imagine! Lots of setup work I imagine to swap from a quick Ring car to a quick car around Barcelona! Best of luck and look forward to seeing how you get on :)
Yes that could be the case mate :) Which races abroad are you thinking of? Do you know what the time penalty is in Britcar for sequential gearbox? I forgot to ask
They are not difficult to wire in Mark but they have a fairly big draw and are rated at 25amps per side
To the OP aswell, when you fit the windscreen make sure you seal around the edge of the glass or the element will be ruined in a matter of weeks (I've learned the hard way)
Quite a few of the racing series run the 888 in 195/50 15 so a few places do decent deals! Have a look at civic cup and BMW compact cup websites as from memory they both run that tyre
Haha I don't the Vat man would approve of my idea ;) would be a nice saving if I could lol!
Doing the Britcar stuff it would actually make sense to do it but then its stepping up to a proper team to earn money which then needs money to set up etc!
