I emailed them a few weeks ago as a friend was wanting one and they said stock expected in a couple of weeks so any time now. Not off the top of my head but I will have a measure in the morning when I'm in the garage :)
Sorry to hear about the gearbox issues Ian! Paddles would be a great idea, I was looking at geartronics kit last year when I was thinking of getting a sadev and the chap was really helpful http://www.geartronics.co.uk/paddleshift.htm
Yes Phil and much better cooling with it being larger :)
Yeah just welded a couple of studs to the bottom and then R-clipped them, then just used the M5 fan mounting points to create two mounts at the top. Seems to be fully welded from what i've seen and the quality is pretty good
I've used the following on mine but they are currently out of stock hence the silly price. I paid £125 for mine

The only difference is the P4P ones are thermoformed and have the black borders (I can't remember if the ACW ones do) You are paying a premium on the P4P ones as they literally look identical to the glass they are replacing. A real quality product and I would recommend them.
Ah yes I had completely forgotten about that! I think for ease I will just drop it off at the powdercoaters :) Although it hasn't even turned up as the postman seems to of been scared by the foot of snow overnight lol
Thanks for that mate I will give them a call Monday although I think i'm pushing it with the timescales lol! Thanks again for the help the other day too
I will have a look thanks Chris it certainly doesn't seem to be as many companies doing it as powder coat
Yeah thats the problem with the...
Does anyone know an anodising company that could do me a really quick job?
I've got a bracket arriving special delivery in the morning and I need it ready by Wednesday as its for the switch panel and the switches are all soldered so need it to be able to crack on with the wiring!
Will get it...
Personally I hated it, but I guess it is everyones own preference. I found the steering wasn't fluid if that makes sense it sort of had resistance and then suddenly turned a lot. I would say round the ring it was bordering on dangerous on a smooth wider track like Spa it was still not great but...
Anybody interested in fibreglass doors for the clio? Weight savings of about 20kg's per door and only £370 for both doors :) We only need one or two more people for the group buy and we'll be good to go...
As Adam says it's just two wires either side of the screen Mark. I still need to sort a couple of connectors out for them on mine. You can do it either way you just need to have the dash off at some point to run the wires. Good luck :)
Hi Mark, Good stuff, I could really do with putting a new one in mine now I think about it :(
The best ones or so i've been told are http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/relays/timers.php I'm not too sure in all honesty as I don't know how much is controlled by UCH and how much...
Thanks for that Ian really appreciate it I will get them collected from me tomorrow so should be with you Friday :)
That was the fall back plan but after buying the bleed valves the bits I would need would of cost another £100 the link to the banjo bleed nipple are...
The problem is the heat they take Colin and also the pressure :( The setup was hot enough last year it changed the colour of the anodizing on the brake bell's :o
The new bleed valves still have to seat on the caliper other wise it will still leak through the threads
I just don't think it will...
So not far from a month since I realised the caliper issue and the speedy world of motorsport has finally delivered my calipers back today but unfortunately not fixed! It has just taken that long to pressure test the bloody things and tell me what I already knew... they are leaking!
Jetstream...
Re: What bit is replaced on rear brake lines when going braided, line off the caliper
No the braided hoses replace the two pipes that link the shell pipes to the rear beam. The one you need is the metal pipe fixed to the rear beam which has a flexi to allow for the caliper moving
Moisture in the sensors normally, Merc's are the worst for it. If its not an aftermarket fitment then like the Merc's you should be able to see if you get it plugged into diagnostics which sensor is at fault and then just replace the one.
