Massive thanks to Ian at Godspeed brakes he sent the fixed calipers back to me earlier this week which was very good of him so thanks for fixing them. I am still waiting on Demon tweeks delivering the double locking bleed valves just so that I don't put any future wear on the seat of the hole...

Great news mate and interesting about the difference in the racks I might try pick one up as a spare and get rid of whichever type I have :)

What you need to so mate is measure the rack with the track rods installed as the plastic bits are the lock stops so without those it won't be an accurate idea of lock to lock

Yeah the cars UCH will control the switching of the relay. I've wired the whole car from scratch :)

Sorry Mark, yes a timed relay is what they are supposed to be run on but I changed my mind and did my own thing as always lol

I just put a spanner (14mm) I think on the bar bit of the rack and marked the rack with a paint pen and then just counted :)

Sounds good to me Mark :) I'm just wiring mine as an on off switch and try not to leave it on.

DCI rack is more turns lock to lock than the standard Clio rack. I bought one but then measured it hence looping mine. It's about 1/2 a turn extra and if anything we all want less turns not more :(

Have you got a brake flaring tool? If so use the standard rack loop both sections of pipe and then use a Renault sump plug to block one of the inlets and I think I used an m18 lambda sensor bung from a Vauxhall on the other. If you don't have a flaring tool then I think you could just use some...

Phil you have removed the metal rack mounts that go to the subframe from the std rack haven't you? The twingo rack should bolt straight to the subframe. Where doesn't it fit? :)
